THE POLL: FERN TAKES THE FIELD!

Fern (Frieren)

As you’ve probably guessed, the winner of our latest Character Poll is none other than Fern!
I added her on a whim, honestly not expecting her to win so easily — but she completely dominated the poll! I heard the people!

Even though the Frieren hype has cooled down a bit, it’s clear that its characters still hold a special place in your hearts.
(And just between us — yes, I wanted to include Frieren herself in the poll too… tons of spicy scene ideas came to mind, and she’s definitely old enough — but with Patreon’s new Terms of Service banning any small-chested characters, I had to hold back!)

Now, onto the real fight — the pose vote!
I struggled to find concepts that felt right for Fern, until I remembered that cute little dance scene with Stark. Loved that moment, and it’s perfect for our style!

Here are the two setups I came up with:

- Once the big party’s over, the two lovebirds decide to… have their own private after-party. (Or maybe not everyone left yet... )

- After pretending to be lovers all day, why stop there? Time to really commit to those roles, right Fern and Stark?

I genuinely love both ideas and can’t decide — so I’m leaving the choice to you, my brave soldiers!

MARIN KITAGAWA SHORT VIDEO — WIP REVEAL!

Now let’s talk about our second production: the Marin Kitagawa short video, which, as mentioned before, will be a smaller project rather than a full-length production.

You’ve all seen spicy Marin clips before… but have you ever seen Marin in a succubus cosplay clips?
I’ve always dreamed of seeing an alternate ending to that iconic love hotel scene, and I’m pretty sure I’m not alone!
What a coincidence — I just happened to need the perfect context for Marin’s new short video!

So here it is: the storyboard for this alternate ending!

Along with the first WIPs:

You’ll notice that these are recreations of existing cuts from the official anime. Since my video takes place directly in that same setting, it would’ve felt weird to jump straight into my spicy twist without a little reminder of the original scene.

HOWEVER — I refused to simply reuse footage from the anime. Out of respect for the original artists, respect for copyright law, and most importantly, self-respect as a creator, I made a decision:
I’m redrawing every key frame myself, from scratch, no tracing involved.

It costs me time (and yes, money for cleaning), but it’s the least I can do. Plus, it’s a fantastic learning opportunity that’ll help me push future projects even further!

So while these early WIPs may look familiar, I hope you’ll still find them interesting to see!
The next progress post will include the original shots — where the alternate, much less frustrating (and much spicier ) ending truly begins!
