Mix&Bits - Rocksteady! Files HERE! (31 cm tall including base)
About This Title
I know you've been waiting for this upload! Second villain of the TMNT 1987 collection!
He's a very cool guy! And he's the first part of a fantastic duo...
The printing process has been very easy (long because some parts are quite big) for all pieces but the 2 bullet weapon straps that I tried printing a couple of times in the same bed but couldn't finish the print, really. So I uploaded the pieces 1 x bed and the print went smoothly. I recommend you to do the same (print the 2 straps and the belt in separate beds as in the file I am uploading).
BUILDING PROCESS
Let's start with the head!
Mount and glue eyes (don't make him cross-eyed, he needs to look like this ) and horns.
Take the two red bust straps and mount first the thin one on the bust (there are some dents in the bust to recognize the position) then the bullets strap on top.
Once mounted you can glue the arms and the head to the bust.
Add the wrist bands and hands.
Add the belly part under the bust.
Now add the belt on top of the trousers and mount all under the belly.
Behind, the belt has a taller connector to mount the turtle shell.
Add the shoes and mount on the base.
Now the 2 last touches! Mount the sword in the back and hang the grenade to the small loop on the strap in the front (check the image).
That's it!! Rocksteady is ready!!
FILAMENTS
We used the Dark grey basic pla by Bambu for the body.
Red parts: We used PLA AzureFilm red wine for the straps, belt and shoes
Trousers : DEEPLEE PLA Matte, Terracotta Brown
sword: Sunlu PLA+2.0 brown
White: Bambu matte ivory white
Silver parts : bullets, and other silver small parts, base deco... Pla silk silver from Sunlu.
P.S. we used dark grey for the grenade because it's a bit stronger than silk.
Black: DEEPLEE matte pla
Yellow: DEEPLEE PLA+ 2.0, WARM Yellow
The turthe shell was printed with caramel and dark green matte pla by Bambu
