Yameta | Studio - Clarification — Base Character Models & Future Sets
About This Title
Starting next week, each new set will also include a base character model. This reference will show the design used for the character before the complete scenes are developed, giving you a clearer preview of their appearance, proportions, outfit and overall style.
I would also like to clarify something important about requests and future sets.
When a concept involves a character or body type that is new to my workflow—especially shorter male characters—I will always make every reasonable effort to bring the result as close as possible to your original idea. However, every set will ultimately remain my interpretation, created according to my current artistic style, workflow and technical abilities.
This means that some details, proportions, poses or character features may differ from the original reference or from exactly what you imagined. The references you provide will guide the creation, but an entirely identical reproduction cannot be guaranteed.
The new base-model previews will help make the creative direction clearer before you see the finished set, while also offering an additional behind-the-scenes look at how each release is developed.
Thank you for your understanding, patience and continued support. I’m always working to improve the quality and consistency of the sets while experimenting with new characters, combinations and ideas.
Let me know in the comments what you think about including these base character models with upcoming releases!
