I pulled the plug on the Kickstarter just now. What a bummer.
Failing at Kickstarter is relatively safe. No money changes hands and no obligations are carried forward. Much better to fail on the front end than on the back.
But it still sucks.
Coming into this campaign, I had a sense of looming dread. Not because the concept for it was bad, but because I have been getting increasingly back in tune with my fans, and I know this isn't the sort of thing that most of you are excited for. The truth is, we're on the same page.
The success of the recent coin campaign felt like a bit of a reawakening. I felt like I had my marching orders again and I was dreading having to close the loop on the minis.
