It sounds like the upcoming Delta Asia announcement is only confirmed to be Singapore (SIN). I will be shocked if they add it from Seattle (SEA).
Maybe they can use the Riyadh (RUH) plane as Delta said "safety" will dictate whether the route actually starts after I have kicked them on the route for months. I have speculated recently that the subsidy contract with the Saudis probably gives Delta more money if they cancel it operationally (1-3 days prior to departure) rather than in advance when it is a premeditated decision as opposed to operational considerations like weather (raining missiles).
The reference to Thailand and Vietnam is interesting, if vague. I'd be surprised if they beat United into those, but if they are the industry "leader" they should.
