About This Title
...so it's a good thing it's about WATER! Which is such a ginormous subject that I narrowed my focus to only the taste of water, and still made my longest video yet.
The theme of the video is that things take a village. This was also the theme of the production process. I ran a taste test (again, I know) where I needed water samples from 8 particular US cities within 3 days. I ended up frantically calling on friends, friends-of-friends, and even one friend-of-a-friend-of-a-friend to do me this huge favor - and despite a nightmarish shipping process, somehow all 8 packages made it on time.
I could've given up. Looked at the delayed tracking links and been reasonable. But no. I asked friends to fill their water following a full-on lab procedure, leave their homes to ship the samples, even revisit their shipping stores when packages got lost... and they did! And because of it we executed THE BEST TAP WATER TASTE TEST ACROSS US CITIES TO DATE.
So if you've ever wondered why tap water tastes so wildly different from city to city (isn't it all H2O? Isn't water treatment the same everywhere?) my investigation is finally out: HERE.
PS. there is a cow again.
Shoutout to my friends and to anyone whose reaction to a request for aid is "DUH I got you!" Sometimes when I see how people act online I feel sad, but when I see how people act in real life I more often than not feel very very happy. (That was not eloquent. My brain is a little melted right now. You know what I mean.)
