Bittersweet3D - Milfheim: The Twisted v0.6 Preview #01 - The first day

Hello, everyone!

Welcome to the first preview of Milfheim: The Twisted v0.6! Development is going smoothly, and I've been hard at work on the renders. I'll be sharing another development update in a new post soon.

MC was offered the opportunity to work as an intern by his former teacher, Mary. It all started when he returned to his hometown for vacation and eagerly went to see her. Mary's best friend, Rose, runs a marketing agency in Milfheim that bears her name.

Mary had a wonderful time catching up with MC after so long. It was a chance for her to get some fresh air, relax, and escape the stress of running the youth center and dealing with her demanding husband.

As they reminisced about old times, she couldn't help herself and ended up telling him about an internship opportunity. Deep down, Mary was delighted when MC readily agreed to the interview. After all, it meant she could keep him in Milfheim and see him more often.

Mary and Rose got together for the first time in a while and enjoyed some girl talk that only women their age could truly appreciate. Their conversation mostly revolved around intimate secrets that women tend to keep to themselves—and, of course, MC. In fact, MC's hiring was pretty much a done deal by the time they finished their conversation.

Their get-together was actually Mary's way of thanking her best friend, Rose. And as Rose listened to Mary go on and on about MC without stopping, she began to sense something.

Throughout the drive downtown, the Landlady tried to ease MC's nerves by keeping the conversation light and casual. He confidently gave her a thumbs-up, but he couldn't stop his heart from racing.Would it have helped calm his nerves if he'd known he'd already pretty much landed the internship?

Vivian escorted MC into the interview room. In a rather formal and cold tone, she asked if he'd like something to drink. The truth was, she'd already assumed MC would fail the interview and that she'd never see him again.Apparently, she didn't think he stood much of a chance of surviving an interview with Rose.

And as you all know, MC managed to survive Rose's high-pressure interview. Maybe giving up on trying to impress her and simply speaking his mind was what actually worked? But when he found out that he'd practically been guaranteed the internship all along, he regretted spilling his guts to Rose. And once he realized that it had all been part of Rose's psychological game, he even started to feel a little afraid of her.

Sure enough, MC borrowed a shirt and tie that the Landlady's son had worn. Apparently, he had no idea that Rose's company had a casual dress code, so he dressed like that because he thought he needed to look proper and professional.

Meanwhile, the Landlady is wearing an apron and making something in the downstairs kitchen. Hmm... Judging by her expression, she seems to be pretty insistent about something with MC. And when you play through this scene, pay close attention. Because this could be the moment that changes their relationship forever.

MC arrived at the office and ran into Vivian. She was much warmer and friendlier than she'd been during his interview a few days earlier. She was also dressed much more casually.

After exchanging a few greetings, she headed into the office with him. Doesn't her bag look a little too big for a typical day at work? Well, there's a little secret hidden inside that bag, so you might want to keep an eye on it.

It's another morning at the office, with everyone starting their day under the usual pressures of work. People exchange greetings and share a few laughs, while the sounds of keyboards clicking and faint car horns outside fill the office. It's that time of day when everyone is focused on getting their work done.

But our MC, who had nothing to do yet and was simply sitting around looking through the office, suddenly spotted something incredible. He was completely captivated by the sight, so much so that he couldn't take his eyes off it.

Meanwhile, Marcus was devastated to discover that his paperwork still hadn't been approved.Both the team leader and the director were out of the office, leaving his paperwork stuck in the approval process. As a result, Rose hadn't even had a chance to review it.After thinking it over for a moment, Marcus asked MC to go upstairs and deliver a message to Rose, asking her to log into the company's system and review his paperwork.

MC had just been given his very first assignment. His heart started pounding.It was an incredibly simple task. All he had to do was pass along a message to someone. The problem was, that someone was Rose.She had already left such a strong first impression on him that just thinking about her was enough to make his heart race.

As MC headed toward the gates of hell—no, I mean Rose's office—Alessia watched him with an unreadable expression.Was it pity? Curiosity about what might happen next?Or perhaps she was simply impressed by his courage to walk into the office of a woman who was all alone?Well, only Alessia knows what was going through her mind.

Maybe his knock went unanswered, or perhaps he was putting his signature stealth skills to use again. Either way, he carefully opened the door to Rose's office.And immediately, he noticed how quiet it was compared to the floor downstairs.

Standing inside her office, MC glanced around, taking a moment to get used to the unfamiliar surroundings. He suddenly found himself wondering whether Rose actually lived here or if this was simply her office.And while he was busy entertaining those pointless thoughts, something caught his eye.He made his way toward it.

What he discovered was something he never could have expected.The sight was nothing short of shocking. It was something no employee should ever have to witness on their very first day at work. And just like that, he completely forgot why he'd come up there in the first place.
