About This Title
"Generally untraveled back road regions are most likely to see rift activity. If you see such a rift, including, but not limited to, sudden fog banks with evidence of lightning or unusual glows, music, or an arch of unusual plants showing a different landscape beyond it, immediately reverse your path, or stop until the rift vanishes. Remember, rifts may close unexpectedly, stranding individuals who crossover in Terath or Fairyland, and the United States Government may not be able to assist you.
"Again, for your own safety, do not cross over a rift!"
"Should any individuals exit the rift, do not initiate hostilities, and immediately contact the nearest Law Enforcement agency. The Government reminds you that initiating unprovoked violence against visitors, in addition to being extremely dangerous, may expose you to criminal liability and the possibility of extradition to the victim's nation of origin."
California Highway Patrol notice, 1981.
