A little note about my visual style and GShade.
If you’ve seen my Sims and wondered how I achieve this look, GShade is an important part of my setup. Personally, I consider it essential for the aesthetic I’m going for, so I tend to assume that most people viewing my screenshots are already familiar with it.
I’ve included three comparisons so you can see the differences for yourself:

The Gentle CAS Lighting Mod by Northern Siberia Winds is also an essential requirement. It’s a lighting mod for Create-a-Sim (CAS), and there’s an in-game version available as well. This requirement is CC-only, so installing it will literally take you about five seconds! ♡
For reference, I use an NVIDIA RTX 3060 at 1920 × 1080. On my computer, GShade runs without any noticeable performance issues. I’ve been using it for approximately two years without any problems.
This is the aesthetic I’ve been developing for my Sims, and honestly, I don’t see myself changing it anytime soon. I want to keep refining this style and making my characters look increasingly Alpha-style, with the visual details and overall finish that define my work.
