Another week flew by while I was spending hours hypnotized by colorful lines of code!
Some parts are actually pretty easy and quick to make, but I like adding little interactions, even to the backgrounds, so you can really get a feel for the atmosphere. And of course, that takes time haha!
I ran into some issues when trying to add the player's name for some reason. I still haven't managed to fix them, but I was able to make progress by skipping that part for now. Most of what will be included in the beta is already finished and working! I just need to make a few more adjustments and then add the variables for previous choices from Days 2 and 3 later on.
Honestly, preparing everything for beta testing is one of the most time-consuming parts, since I have to make sure the choices work even when not everything is ready yet haha.
Just a reminder that some of the screenshots I share here are exclusive to Patreon and won't be posted publicly later on. I'll also try to show you a little more of the code and the errors I've been dealing with, which will also be exclusive to you, my Patreons, and won't be posted elsewhere.
I'm really excited to see what new theories you come up with!
