EvoForge - Jésus Triste - Imposed setups, championships v2, single-seaters: EvoForge 1.1.17
About This Title
Thank you for supporting EvoForge! 1.1.17 brings imposed setups that really hold on EvoForge servers, championships v2 (register with your car and livery, BOP, practice servers, a public page) and a second round of fixes on converted single-seaters, each turned into a rule for every converted car.
Imposed setups that really holdAssetto Corsa EVO lets every driver open the Setup page, even on a server marked “closed to tuning”: that setting does nothing in the game. EvoForge servers now hold an imposed setup themselves.
Factory setup imposed, or the round’s setup imposed: every car gets it when it joins. A driver who changes their setup in the garage gets the imposed one back when they press Drive — the car comes back to the pit menu with a chat message, and the next Drive goes out with it. A driver who changed nothing leaves with a single click.
We only hold what the game lets anyone hold. Always imposed: alignment, springs and bump stops, dampers, anti-roll bars, differential, aero and ride height, steering, brakes — what is only set in the garage.
Always the driver’s: the aids — TC, ABS, brake bias, engine map, ESC, engine braking, turbo, ERS. Each has its own control on the wheel and the game lets drivers change them while driving, so no server can hold them: EvoForge keeps every driver’s own aids whenever it puts the setup back.
The organiser’s call: compound, fuel and tyre pressures — garage settings a pit stop can change later in a race. Left free, each driver keeps their own; switched off, drivers get the imposed value at Drive.
Compound is seen by EvoForge for every driver. Fuel and pressures can only be read by the driver’s own EvoForge: when one of them is left free, a driver without EvoForge is not held (nothing left free is ever overwritten), unless the organiser switches on EvoForge required — then drivers without it are turned away.
In the game, drivers who use EvoForge see a banner on the Setup page telling them what is still theirs, in their EvoForge language.
Works through the relay or with a direct connection. Servers started without EvoForge don’t get any of this.
Championships v2Register with your car and your livery, picked from pictures — nothing to download, even before the first server exists. Join then starts the game in that car and that livery.
Your car is reserved for you: a registered driver who joins a round in another car is turned away at the door, with a message saying which car they registered with. Organisers can change a driver’s car at any time.
Balance of performance: ballast and restrictor per car and per driver, for the whole championship or a single round, on top of success ballast. Drivers see their own BOP on the round page.
Practice servers between rounds: the next round’s track, cars and BOP, open to registered drivers only, with a Join button on the championship page.
A public page per championship (`join.evoforge.fr/ch/…`): calendar, standings (private profiles stay hidden), cars and liveries — shareable on Discord with a preview card.
A new round in one click: “Reuse round N” copies the programme, race settings (imposed setup included), grid, rules, content and start time, and proposes the date at the championship’s pace. Only the track is left to choose.
A linked Steam account is required to register (the server recognises drivers by it), and results become final on their own after 72 hours without a protest.
Converted single-seaters, round twoThe customer who received the single-seaters converted for 1.1.16 drove them and sent a second round of notes; each one became a general rule, for every converted car.
Engine sound at its real level on mods that list the same sound twice in their bank (cockpit level within 0.4 dB of Assetto Corsa, measured in game), and each car keeps its own sound when you convert several in a row.
No default head showing through a full helmet, and liveries that bring their own driver keep it.
Visors like in Assetto Corsa: opaque visors stay opaque, racing visors are mirrors that hide the face, and visors that Custom Shaders Patch renders as glass are converted as glass.
Two-tone liveries that change the body’s detail texture now follow the livery you pick.
Suspension parts in place: a part the mod “animates” without ever moving it stays where the model draws it, as in Assetto Corsa.
Carbon and coloured steering-wheel buttons no longer look washed out.
Physics: adjustable rear wing on cars whose wing also had a tiny automatic movement, the mod’s own inertia, the mod’s cold tyre pressures, the full ride-height range; on cars using Custom Shaders Patch’s extended physics, the tyre rolling resistance follows it.
Steering-wheel screens and rev lightsDigits are placed like in Assetto Corsa, whether the mod aligns them left, centre or right.
No more red block where the gear should be on screens mounted behind another part; short warning lights show on the right page of the screen.
Display settings a mod changes through its Custom Shaders Patch files, and screens it draws with a Custom Shaders Patch script, are converted: the screen keeps its own background and its text sits where Assetto Corsa puts it.
Rev lights hidden inside the model are converted, and the lights look lit from the driver’s seat, as in Assetto Corsa.
To get itUpdate EvoForge to 1.1.17, or download it from evoforge.fr.
Imposed setups: on the Host page, or in a championship round — choose the imposed setup, then whether compound, fuel and pressures stay the drivers’.
Championships: in the Paddock — the organiser adds the car list, drivers register with their car and livery.
Converted cars: convert them again, or Repair my content in the Library.
Thanks again: you are the reason EvoForge stays free for every driver. Feedback is welcome on the Discord: https://discord.gg/x3w7eCDFkK
