About This Title
I thought October would be the perfect month to bring Valda back, it's been awhile!
The first time I drew her, she was a newly made vampire-adjacent creature and reluctant drinker of blood -- she tried desperately to control herself on a long trip across the Canadian wilderness with a party heading for the gold rush in Alaska, but ended up devouring everyone.
Now Valda's back in civilization, in the Windy City, and she's...a little less controlled, lol. The seal has been broken, so to speak. There are men everywhere with no connections who won't be missed, meat packers and railroad workers, etc. It's a buffet!
The first time she stripped down before eating, it was simply a practical matter -- she was tired of getting her clothes dirty. Eventually she realized that men would happily follow her to more and more remote places as long as she showed some skin, thereby killing two birds with one stone.
Where does Valda's story go next? Does she perhaps attract the attention of some older, wiser blood-drinkers who don't appreciate her lack of dinner etiquette? We'll see!
