Dealing with her made me realize how difficult it is to make an appealing dwarf. Like... what IS a dwarf? A dwarf is short, but it isn’t a “small person”, so what makes a dwarf a dwarf? I spend a LOT of time on this question. I could, y’know, go the “beard” route, but... let’s not. I tried going for a shortstack, but it really just felt like short girl + massive tits and not dwarf.In the end, I ended up with the idea that she needed to be broad and short. That led to its own rabbit hole where I couldn’t make her without her looking fat(because she was a wide girl). Well, long story short, I gave up on her three times before I landed on this design, but... I admit that I absolutely ADORE her new design, even if I feel she could’ve used broader shoulders to hammer the dwarf idea a bit more... I decided on the appeal over making her TOO dwarvish.
Her outfit is simple but in a very skimpy way, and her platform shoes is to make the poor lady that smidge taller.
She is, in essence, the stereotypical fantasy bard. She wanders around, sings romantic ballads, and always ends up in trouble. The very one who’d attempt to seduce a dragon, and it’d be a 50/50 if she’d have to run away screaming her lungs out, or... have a very weird night, but one she is willing to try.
She is also a VERY theatrical girl. I kinda based her on the idea of a chunnibyou girl. She is a decently amazing singer. The mark on her tongue allows her voice to charm people in a small scale. Which is to say, people think she is better than she is... still, she is pretty amazing overall even without it. She uses it more because the mere IDEA of someone disliking her hits her far too deeply.Being a narcissist and a bit of a master manipulator(with no real malicious intent most of the time), she is all about getting what she wants. Be it attention, validation, shelter, money, sex—while avoiding emotional vulnerability
In terms of combat, Thrynn is purely supportive. Songs that empower allies, weak magic... her forte is NOT combat. Still, she is an adventurer, but one who only works in groups. And the only group she likes to work with is the Blood Fiends... so again, even though she is not a member, she kinda is in every way other than speaking that she is.
