During the whole incident with their guardian deity, Lord Jabu-Jabu, acting increasingly strange and aggressive, the citizens of the Sea Zora Village had not stopped making offerings to said deity, as they were largely unaware of the ongoing issues.
As it was too dangerous to try to approach Jabu-Jabu at the moment, all the food kept pilling up, and some of it even started to go stale.
Throwing out all that food into the ocean would've been a bad idea, as wasting good food like that wouldn't be right and people would've easily found out about their offerings were being wasted, which also meant that redistributing the food between the population would've been an equally bad idea.
Understanding this, Kushara, the chief of the Sea Zoras, realised that that the only option they had would be to.... Eat it all themselves.
She also understood that, since some of the food had gone stale already, it wouldn't have been right for her subordinates to eat.
Due to that, Kushara, as their chief, decided to take the burden all upon herself, and asked all (except one or two assistants) to leave her quarters so that she may not very excitedly feast upon all the offerings that were pilling up.
And so she ate, and ate, and ate.....
After getting some help from one her assistants with shoving down the last of the fish offerings down her throat, she was finally done, and was absolutely massive.
Her stomach was now several times her size, and covered a good portion of the throne room now.
Now, all she had to do was to calmly wait for it to all digest.
However, her stomach had other plans.
The stale food in there started to very much not sit well, and it started causing her to have some real nasty indigestion, causing her gut to start to ripple violently.
All of this was incredibly uncomfortable to Kushara, and it was causing an immense amount of gas to build up in her stomach...Then, she let out a belch so unbelievably loud and so incredibly powerful that it caused the ground on the entire domain to shake a little and for her citizens to worry that a monster might have gotten into the throne room.
Of course, Kushara was very much embarassed for letting out such a ginourmous burp (and surprised she was even capable of something like that), but understood that there was nothing she could really do about her situation, and powered through her indigestion.
