F18_Studio - Weekly Development Update 10.23.2026
About This Title
Development continued this week across several major systems, with a focus on expanding intercourse gameplay, building toward a more dynamic and reactive world, and continuing work on the city itself.
Some of these systems are substantial undertakings that will require time to develop, integrate, and test properly. Here's what I've been working on this week.
Intercourse System ImprovementsWork continued on the new Intercourse Animation Graph Editor, which is part of a larger effort to introduce different intercourse modes and improve how these interactions are handled.
Alongside the animation graph, I've been improving the intercourse mini menu to make it more useful and intuitive while an interaction is in progress.
The goal is to build a more flexible system that can support different interaction types and transitions, rather than relying on a limited set of predefined sequences. A better way to navigate through the adult mini menu.
This is a fairly large system, so there's still work ahead before everything is ready.
Living Island SystemThe Living Island System continues to be one of the biggest long-term projects in development.
The aim is to make the world feel more alive by allowing NPCs to remember events, react to what happens around them, and gradually build a history of their interactions with the player and the world.
This system involves more than dialogue changes. It requires new underlying systems for handling NPC memories, saving that information, and eventually allowing NPCs to use those memories when making decisions or responding to the player. Here are some examples of what the Ling Island System will bring.
An NPC Memory System. NPCs will remember if you gave them a gift or who you kissed.
They are going to be able to spread knowledge and rumors through other NPCs.
Relationships will have consequences.
NPC-initiated Interactions. Instead of the player initiating an interaction, an NPC could do that as well.
Dynamic Invitations: NPCs can invite the player to locations or activities based on their relationship, schedule, personality, and current situation.
NPCs will have secrets about other NPCs or themselves.
NPC Personality Traits.
A World Event System.
Because of its scope, the Living Island System will not be fully ready for the next monthly build. However, I want supporters to get an early taste of what these new systems can do as individual features become functional.
This is a long-term investment in making NeonStrip's NPCs feel less like static characters and more like individuals living in the world.
World DevelopmentI've also continued working on the Moon City map, primarily focusing on streets and the surrounding areas.
This work is part of the ongoing effort to develop the city beyond its existing locations and improve the overall environment as players explore the world.
The latest development screenshots show some of this progress, including work on the streets and surrounding scenery.
New Drivable Vehicle — Work in ProgressI've started working on adding another drivable vehicle to NeonStrip.
The vehicle shown in this week's screenshots is currently a test vehicle. It's being used during development, and it may or may not make it into the next update. Its inclusion will depend on how development progresses.
For now, the focus is on the work in progress rather than promising a new vehicle for the upcoming release.
Looking AheadSeveral of the systems currently in development are fairly large, particularly the Living Island System and the expanded intercourse system. They require more than simply adding a new feature to the game; they need supporting functionality, integration, and testing.
As a result, not everything shown or discussed here will necessarily be complete in the next monthly build.
My goal is to introduce these improvements in stages, giving supporters an early look at what they bring to NeonStrip while continuing to develop the underlying systems properly.
Thank you for your continued support!
