I'm so excited to finally share this little celestial creation with you!
My newest Crescent Moon & Cloud Tea Light Holder features a gorgeous crescent moon nestled into a fluffy cloud base, with a little spot for a battery-operated tea light to add the perfect cozy glow.
This one went through a bit of a redesign!
Originally, I created the entire thing as a single piece, which seemed like a great idea until I saw the estimated print time.
22 HOURS.
So, back into Shapr3D I went!
I ended up separating the design into two individual pieces, and I am SO happy with how everything came together.
Not only did this bring the combined print time down to approximately 10 hours, but it also means you can mix and match your favorite filaments for the moon and clouds!
What's IncludedCrescent Moon: Features a built-in holder for a battery-operated LED tea light.
Cloud Base: A separate piece designed to cradle the crescent moon.
Two-piece assembly: Print each component in your preferred color combination and assemble!
Printing & AssemblyBoth pieces are printed separately, making it easy to experiment with different colors without needing an AMS.
Simply print the moon and clouds, then fit the pieces together to create your finished display.
I especially love how multicolor filaments look on the crescent moon, while the clouds are a perfect opportunity to experiment with silk or sparkly filaments!
Important: Please use battery-operated LED tea lights only. Traditional candles and open flames should never be used with PLA prints.
