About This Title
HELLO WITCHES—OUR TAURUS FULL MOON IS ARRIVING!
Witches, this Full Moon asks a rather powerful question:
What are you holding on to because you love it and what are you holding on to because you’re afraid to let go?
Here on the Gold Coast, she reaches her fullest on Monday 26 October at 2:11 pm. You can enjoy her beautiful light on the evenings around her peak, too.
Taurus is an earth sign, traditionally connected with security, money, self-worth, pleasure and the comforts of home. My invitation for this Moon is to come back to the things that help you feel grounded: a nourishing meal, a peaceful space, time in nature and people whose love feels steady.
Sometimes the most magical thing you can do is stop rushing long enough to hear yourself.
WHAT ELSE IS HAPPENING IN THE SKY?
The Sun in Scorpio sits opposite the Taurus Moon. In astrology, this brings together the desire for stability and the need for change. Consider where familiarity has become a reason to avoid an honest conversation—or where chasing change has stopped you appreciating something good.
Mercury is retrograde in Scorpio, while Venus is also retrograde and has returned to Libra by this Full Moon. Astrologers associate these cycles with revisiting conversations, relationships and personal values. Use that symbolism to ask questions, check assumptions and think about what fairness looks like in your life. An old connection resurfacing doesn’t automatically mean you need to reopen the door.
The Full Moon also squares Pluto in Aquarius, an aspect astrologers connect with intensity and questions of power. My advice? Notice the difference between setting a boundary and trying to control someone else’s response. You can be clear without entering every argument you’re invited to.
