Hello dear Patrons! I’m so happy to share a new video lesson with you! This time, we’ll paint this adorable bear-shaped honey jar using my Realistic Watercolor Brushes for Procreate.
In this lesson, we’ll focus on creating a glossy, transparent surface and capturing the beautiful golden tones of honey. We’ll start by simplifying the reference into light, mid, and dark values, then gradually build up the colors and volume.
Along the way, we’ll explore how to use strong contrasts, soft color transitions, deep shadows, and bright highlights to create the illusion of shiny glass. We’ll also work on the little details of the label and add a tiny bee to give the illustration even more charm.
