About This Title
Hey guys, it's been a really rough couple of months for me physically and my drawing has been affected unfortunately, and I wanted to explain so you understand where I'm at.
I took up some local seasonal work at a large book warehouse in August, with my next off-time being December. I love the job, but because of the repetitive strain that comes with warehouse work, I'm incredibly sore and I want to get enough rest to avoid some potential back and hand injuries that I don't want to make worse.
I've continued to work on pages alongside, but I've reached a tough spot where the day job is in a rush crunch, and I'm not satisfied with my inks when I'm this sore. I need to take a breather to make sure I'm happy my inks, and also that the inks aren't hurting me to make them.
I love making comics and I miss the satisfaction of a regular upload so much! I have so many stories I want to be working on and so badly miss drawing the characters I love. Alas... I'm still unfortunately bound to the limitations of a non-robotic body and capitalism. But I'm going to keep at it until the balance finds me!
Here's the sketch for this upcoming page for now. This is where I'll be picking up on it tomorrow, and I'll work on it little by little throughout the week until I post it here. I hope that next week I can share more than one page that I am proud of, for both LIFT and TIFT.
