About This Title
I've seen some interest in American Truck Simulator, so I think it's time to talk about the future of TruckSim Customs in ATS!
And yes — I do have plans to bring my mods to American Truck Simulator!
The goal isn't just to port existing ETS2 mods, but also to introduce ATS-specific features, plugins and improvements designed especially for American trucks and gameplay.
WHEN CAN WE EXPECT THE FIRST ATS MODS?If everything goes according to plan, the first ATS mods could arrive within the next 2 weeks!
That's currently my target, and possibly even sooner!
However, please don't treat this as a guaranteed release date. Development can be unpredictable, and I'd rather take a little extra time than release something unfinished.
WHAT ABOUT PATREON TIERS?With ATS joining TruckSim Customs, there will also be some changes to how membership access works.
Here's what I'm currently planning:
TSC SUPPORTER — ETS2 ONLYThe regular TSC Supporter tier will continue working exactly as it does now, providing access to its included ETS2 mods.
ATS mods will not be included in this tier.
TSC PRO — ETS2 + ATSGood news for everyone who already has TSC PRO!
Your existing membership will also give you access to ATS mods included in the Pro tier, alongside your ETS2 content!
You won't need to purchase another subscription just because I'm expanding into American Truck Simulator.
Everything will continue working as before, except you'll also receive access to the new ATS projects.
I'm also considering introducing a separate ATS-only membership for people who don't play ETS2.
However, if you want access to mods for both ETS2 and ATS through a monthly membership, TSC PRO will be the option for you.
The final membership structure is still being worked out.
WHAT ABOUT LIFETIME ACCESS?I also want to clarify something important for everyone who has already purchased Lifetime Access.
Lifetime Access to ALL TSC Mods means ALL TSC Mods.
And yes — that includes future American Truck Simulator mods too!
If you already own TSC Lifetime Access, you won't need to purchase another membership to access the new ATS projects.
Your Lifetime Access will continue to cover both ETS2 and ATS, including future mods and updates.
That's exactly what Lifetime Access was intended for — permanent access to TruckSim Customs mods without having to maintain a monthly subscription.
IS ATS BECOMING THE MAIN PRIORITY?Not exactly.
ETS2 will remain my main focus, especially with ongoing development of TBX Phone and TBX Mechanical Failures.
However, ATS is definitely part of the future of TruckSim Customs.
I want to gradually bring existing projects to American Truck Simulator while also developing new features specifically for the American trucking experience.
This expansion will take time, but I'm excited to see where it goes.
