About This Title
Hello all. A spooky flavored render for you today, with the approaching holiday seemed appropriate.
Progress has been steady going this week, I've actually had a lot of fun working on it, as I mentioned last week I'm trying some new things. Because of the large amount of people in it, the framing of the scene is a lot more frenetic than I usually attempt. I'm personally a much bigger fan of more slow and deliberate scenes, so making the conscious decision for a little more chaos is a different bag. Additionally some characters have been a real joy to pose together, Kana, being the only woman of the cast shorter than Vi, getting an opportunity to spend some time with the small giantess that is Els in particular has made me feel like I'm filming Lord of the Rings, a whole lot of perspective trickery to fit them in the shots together. Also attempting to have the characters not in direct focus have a sense of long term continuity that you can follow through the course of the scene was a ...choice. But hey if you've been around long enough you know I'm not happy unless I'm making myself unhappy.
On the note of making myself unhappy, boy have animations been a real blast, not at all infuriating. Not even a week ago I was telling some people that animating is often the most soothing and least stressful part of the update cycle for me, boy it's crazy how things change... Jokes aside things have been progressing well, not as easily as i would have hoped but the end result is really coming together. I know a lot of people have eagerly been awaiting a scene with (Redacted) and (Redacted) and that's most of what gets me through the crashing programs and other general fuckery.
Gonna try to have an art stream this Sunday Nov 1st at the usual 1pm Pacific/ 4pm Eastern. Spoilers will abound
I'll wrap it up here, hope you have a lovely rest of your week and thank you as always for your support.
