About This Title

Hello, my incredible friends!

Today, I’m sharing a very small design that is quick to print and filled with cute Christmas magic.

Since I’m currently immersed in a much larger, more complex and detailed Christmas project—which I’ll share an update on tomorrow— I decided to create a small, minimalist Christmas countdown calendar.

So here it is, a little Christmas scene where you can almost feel the warmth of the fireplace and hear a holiday melody drifting through the air.

A small cat warms itself in front of the fireplace, while a present waits to be opened on a mild Christmas morning. A decorated tree adds a familiar, nostalgic touch.

Even with its minimalist style, all the essential elements of Christmas are here—this little calendar is sure to get people talking!

(NOTE: THE WHOLE SET OF PHOTOS IS COMPLETELY AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS POST AND THE ZIP FILE CONTAINING ALL THE STL FILES IS JUST BELOW THE PHOTOS.)

Now, let’s talk about the project. Please read the following carefully to ensure you have all the important details:

- This countdown is designed to begin on December 1st, covering 25 days. The first dice features the numbers 0 through 5, and the second dice includes 0, 1, 2, 6, 7, and 8. This combination allows you to display any number from 25 down to 00. If you’d like a longer countdown, simply print two sets of dice! (4 dice in total)

-When i say it is a small model, the actual dimensions of the diorama are 100x118mm. But it can be enlarge if you want without any problem. But i do not recommend scaling it smaller.

- IMPORTANT: There is no "9." You can simply turn the "6" upside down to represent a "9."

- I’ve designed a new style of cube for the countdown numbers; they are easier to print and assemble than the versions I’ve used for previous projects of this type.

- A French version is included. You can choose between an English or French sign. It is also possible to create versions in other languages using the text tool in your slicer.

- All parts can be printed without supports; HOWEVER, I recommend using supports for the dice cubes—specifically on the side facing the print bed. While it is certainly possible to print them using nice bridge settings, they are much easier to print with supports.

- Several parts require color changes at specific layer heights. If you aren't familiar with this process, don't worry—it can be done on any type of 3D printer (no AMS required), and it’s very straightforward. If you need any help with this, feel free to ask in my community Facebook group:

- Complete instructions are included, along with a Bambu Lab project file containing everything you need. IMPORTANT: Please note that the color changes in the Bambu Lab project file are set by LAYER; you must slice the build plate to see these color changes in the preview window.

- IMPORTANT: By default, the project file is set to a 0.12mm layer height. You can use 0.20mm for larger components, such as the main body of the calendar. For smaller pieces—like the cats, the log, the wreath, and the gift bow—I strongly recommend a 0.08mm layer height for a better finish.

I believe that covers everything! If I’ve missed anything, please let me know.

I’m off to finish my next big design—I can promise you’re going to love it!

Take care, everyone! Love you all! I’ll be back to you shortly with the update mentioned above!

Have fun!

Pascal
