NikhilClayton - React-ar 11: I'm Rocking With The Faceless
About This Title
I'm sorry if people are still torn after THIS episode, I don't know what else to say.
It is hard because I do believe that both the Queen and the Chancellor are trying to do the best for their people. The Ellorans fear death without the benders there to protect them. The Faceless fear death from being forced to fight off the storms in Ellora. Their is no truly "good" answer but the amount of hate I see online for these people just trying to live a life of their own choosing is wild to me.
I stand by the fact that - had this show been from the Faceless POV - they would not be nearly as controversial. A rag-tag group of rebels refusing to submit and serve the state is a well established and understood trope...until they're presented as outsiders.
This was the closest to that POV we've gotten so far and I think it proves my point. If even the heroes of the show are coming around, then it's time to get on board.
