About This Title
Wanted to showcase even more scrapped and work in progress costumes. How our talks between the artists go and where we land on what works best.
As you can see Berry we wanted the classic uniform but I also let the artist go a bit crazy and come up with some stuff for me to sign off on. One being that Chun lee knockoff.
Once we get to a point of what we like we go into the refining stage. You can see we started with color changes. Something to set it apart from its inspirations.
And then we kinda find a middle ground more swapping to a cute bow and a more Kasumi from Dead or Alive style. The colors of black and gold just attach themselves to Berry like magnets.
We kinda also bounce around a few ideas on what we feel looks best. Again its so fucking tough to say yes to everything Raph throws at me.
Once we settle though you can see the work come together. That pendant is so damn cute. What Iove is the velvet of the bow too. You can see the little swirls and details!
Bit of a breakdown on each piece. Since the gameplay needs to remove panels we need to get a bit creative on what is something that can be destroyed. The hardest part for these has been what mesh works best on the models and importing it in without no clipping. Dont get me wrong...thats when we see nip slips but that wont help us finish a game.
