2minutetabletop - Pricing Changes・What You Need To Know
About This Title
In a nutshell:
Do you need to do anything? No, your pledge amount will remain the same unless you change it.
Your next charge has been moved to December 1st, and you'll be charged on the first of each month going forward.
There are new tier prices for new and returning patrons, outlined below.
Hi, it's Ross from 2-Minute Tabletop!
You may have already caught wind of this from other Patreon creators, but across the website the pay-per-creation model is being retired and all creators using it are being ushered into the pay-per-month model. You can read about the reason here.
This means that, from now on, instead of us billing you for four items per month, you will only be charged once per month, like any old subscription.
If you still have questions after reading this post, please let me know in the comments! I will be happy to help clarify what I can. :)
– Ross
Existing subscribers keep their pledge level, and you will be charged the same amount per month.
Your new per-month amount is a simple calculation of your old amount multiplied by the monthly-maximum you might have set previously.
If you joined our Silver tier, at $2/creation, with a max of 3/month, your new pledge will be $6/month ($2 × 3 creations). If you had no monthly-maximum the multiplier will be 4, to match our existing 4-creations-per-month model.
You can take advantage of this discounted amount for as long as you are subscribed, until you cancel or change your pledge tier.
No matter when you used to be charged, you will now be charged on the first of each month, and you will next be charged on December 1st. New patrons will be charged on the day they join and every following month on that day.
What will the new tier prices be?For new or returning patrons, the new prices will be as follows:
Bronze – $4.00/month*
Silver – $8.00/month*
Gold – $20.00/month*
Mithril – $40.00/month*
*plus sales tax/VAT depending on your location
A New 20% Discount on Annual SubscriptionsYou might want to consider an annual subscription, now that we have the ability to discount it! On an annual subscription you can save 20% (over 2 months free) compared to a monthly-max of 4/month.

Is this good or bad? It's painful to give up something that has worked well for so many years, and many creators in the community are very anxious about restructuring. It's honestly quite scary for us to make such a drastic change to our main source of funding, but I want to be optimistic about what we can make of it!
First of all, we can finally utilize some of Patreon's new features, such as discounted annual subscriptions, gift memberships, and more that I hope to make good use of. Keep an eye out for those!
Second, I think it makes us more flexible, and we can possibly spend less time structuring paid posts and more time drawing and releasing stuff. As many of you know, I have had precious little time to build whole map packs since my daughter was born, but under this new model I'm going to try making and releasing smaller, manageable projects, perhaps with no theme at all! Stay tuned.
There's also the question of how all this will effect our budget. It's a dangerous shake-up and creators like us have seen a lot of ups and downs! We will course correct over the coming months.
In a nutshell, we will continue to make all sorts of the stuff you've come to expect, at the same cadence you're used to, for as long as we can, and plan to make the most of the new options available to us, too. We hope to make this all as positive a change as possible!
I hope you'll join us for the ride. :)
