Katnay - Tina - Reference Sheet 2026
About This Title
She's tries to live a lot.
She's a school teacher and she's dating the drummer of The WornDown Children.
She feels she grew up too early and is compensating.
She probably doesn't sleep as much as she should.
She was raised in an academic environment and focused her youth on her studies. It was in college when she discovered her love for rock and parties.
She at first applied her academic mindset and became a walking music encyclopedia.
She's very casual about her love life and relationships. She has been in a casually serious relationship with the drummer of a band named Davo for a while now.
She met the WornDown Children through him and hangs out with them often.
…
And here it is! Just 1 to go...! Or was it 2? 3? Eh, it was probably 4.
But here's finally Tina's new reference sheet. And about time, and finally! One fun fact about the original one is that I made it when I was still figuring out how to draw her. In fact there might be more than 1 version online because I made some changes to it after first posting it.
I really need to hurry up with these before my style changes again and I have to make even newer one lmao. I think I'll be posting them soon. Just have to finish and revisit some things before.
I'm also taking the opportunity to change the way I draw her ears a bit.
One fun thing about the characters that have received their new reference sheet is that they have some sort of role or even archetype on The WornDown Children orbit. Besides obviously the band members, there's the Roadie, RJ, and the graphic artist Tak. And under that lense I kind of see Tina as the groopie. Always going to the band's concerts and following them around (And she always totally get backstage passes(you know... to hang out and have pizza...))
The thing is she only does it when she has the time. The other half of the time she's a nice school teacher and nerdy girl who reads and plays boardgames. And she really does care about her classroom kids who have no idea how much of a party animal she is outside the school.
So I guess she would be a half time groopie or something.
And I think the switching between these two lifestyles is what makes her not sleep as much as she probably should.
I described her relationship with Davo as casually serious, or seriously casual, and what I think I mean with that is that they haven't paid attention to how serious it has gotten at this moment. They probably will, but by then they most probably won't mind.
I've been wanting to do some more stuff about her adventures teaching at a school for some time, but I've had some problems. See, the truth is that I, as a kid, was too cool for school (I had ADHD) so I guess I'm having a problem putting myself in the mindset of who actually likes it lol. But I'll figure it out probably.
Now there's a chance the next one to get their ref is Diego, and boy he needs it because I have totally changed his colors since I did the first one.
Btw, I wrote “had” earlier, but if I'm being honest, I totally still have ADHD, if anything my ADHD has grown more powerful. Damn those dastardly smart phones!
