O!elli people have the natural ability to produce super strong silk from their spinnerets, which can then be used to weave a wide range of useful things! What originally evolved as a means to create egg sacks and protective burrows has long since exploded into a vast array of skillsets and artforms.
The silk production industry is huge on O!elli as a result of this. The oldest O!elli textiles predate the entirety of recorded human history by a rather significant margin, suggesting that even ancient cultures on the planet placed great value in silk artistry.
