Game Awards talk? Sure! The usual highs and lows, one of the most anti-climatic final reveals, but hey new Megaman finally! I'm not surprised Expedition 33 swept so much of it, the game does deserve it, but it's bringing forth the discussion of if a game should be allowed to be nominated for so much and just not give any spotlight to other games that deserve it. Silksong in particular I really think should have at least won best ost. Really though, only things I'm legitimately upset on are Mario Kart beating Sonic Crossworlds for best racing game (listen to the audience and you can hear which game people like more), and the absolute bullshit of Sonic 3 not being nominated at all for best adaptation, which makes zero sense. Really cool to see indie games getting more and more recognition every year though, let's keep that trend going instead of all the same old shlock a lot of the AAA studios keep shilling.
