First part of the wolf land.
Warriors
The snowy northern province of the Dog Realm, the homeland of the wolves is a hazardous place to visit if one's not prepared for the harsh weather of the north. The wolves are well-suited to survive in this cold, and they also make great fighters. Instead of dogs, the Jarl's warriors keep up the peace here, and protect the trade routes all over the mountains.
Garrison
The wolves of the north can protect their settlements on their own without the support of the Dog Realm, but according to the first king's orders every province must have at least one stronghold with a garrison of dogs as a deterrent for enemy forces. The cold of the north is not something that all dogs can handle and as the wolves are capable fighters on their own, the garrison here is always at a reduced size. The wolves and the dogs of this fortress often seen training together.
Haggling
The wolves usually get their fish from the nearby villages, but when they are preparing for a feast they need to get something better from someplace farther to the north. There are fishing villages on the coast of the sea selling the best fish around, and that's exactly where they are heading to. The bears of this village sell a big variety of seafood for a high price and they know pretty well why the wolves visit in this time of the year. Negotiating the price with them can be pretty exhausting, but they can't waste the Jarl's gold or return home empty handed.
Jarl
The lord of the Dog Realm's northern province works hard through the year, but even for him there's a need for some relaxation once in a while. After spending so much time in the cold weather, the Jarl likes to visit a good warm place in his little free time. The Fox Pass is close to this town, so it's not rare to see some of the foxes hanging around and causing mischief, but sometimes they can be pretty helpful, especially when they know they can get something in return. The current Jarl likes to keep these foxes around, since he realized how much they can help with his sessions of relaxation.
