Prestream chat was as much of abuzz as it always was, except even more, as this was a collab stream, following up the previous one just yesterday, where Iono easily bested Canari in every game that chat could suggest as a duel. Iono wasn’t exactly a pro, but Canari rarely played anything that didn't simply involve falling blocks.
“Ladies and gentlemens! Are you readyyyyyy?!
Your eyeballs are MINE—caught in my Electroweb! Whosawhatsit? Iono! 'Ello, 'ello, hola! Ciao and bonjour!
It's time for the Iono Zone, everybody!"
Iono clears her throat, getting past her usual intro, as the camera slowly panned away from her face. You couldn’t see it, but, you could feel Canari’s eyes rolling at Iono’s cheesy delivery. And as the frame filled further out, you could begin to see her guest, kneeling to her side, as if Iono only owned one chair—wait—is that Iono’s...feet on the table?
“Yoohoo! We’ve got a very special stream here today, Iono Zoners! This is NOT clickbait. You won’t BELIEVE what’s happening next—for real!”
You could see it this time. Certainly an eyeroll.
“As you all remember from yesterday, but, just in case anyone hasn’t seen! But everyone was there, of course, or at least saw the VoD, right?”
Iono’s viewership numbers seemed to give her a complex. But, today, (yesterday) the title of winner was undeniably her, so it was inevitable that people would want to see after Canari’s meltdown after losing.
“Anyway! Super-duper-triple-Dudunsparce level special stream. The winner gets to have a stream where the loser does anything the winner wants!”
A voice chimes in from slightly further from the mic.
“Iono, I thought it would be, like...something dumb like you do. ‘Haunted Abandoned Pokémart, You Won’t BELIEVE WE FOUND A GHOST (GONE WRONG?)’ or something like that.”
