Maiven Graphics - CarPainter App v0.6
infoAbout This Title
Car Painter is live
An in-game paint tool for Assetto Corsa (CSP). No Photoshop, no unpacking skins, no leaving the sim — open the app, pick a part, paint.
How it works Focus the orbit camera on your car, then Shift+Click any panel to select it. You can select by material (whole paint job / shared surfaces) or by mesh (individual parts). Add as many parts as you want and edit them one by one from the sidebar.
What you can do
Solid color with live preview on the car
Browse textures from the skin folder, or load your own images
Scale, offset, and rotate textures (normals follow scale too)
RGB texture tint that tints the texture only — not your paint color
Fine tiling / repeat (including 50× / 200× / 780× shortcuts) that stays sharp instead of going blurry
Normal maps — browse your own, use a flat/blank normal, or adjust intensity
Built-in Carbon presets (Carbon + Dark Carbon) with diffuse, normal, tint, and tiling ready to go
Reflection blend and surface finish controls (specular, fresnel, reflections, and more)
Built-in material presets: car paints, metals, plastics, glass, and more
Save your own presets for later
Saved designs & auto-saves — reload a full look without re-picking every part
Save to the skin folder when you’re happy with the result
Works on your car and other cars in the session. Changes apply instantly so you can dial in the look under real lighting.
Recently updated
Cleaner header toolbar: car selector under the title, Pick switch, Material/Mesh toggle, Orbit
Getting started flow with Selection paused / Start selecting, plus saved designs underneath
Texture tab reorganized (presets, custom browse, tint, size/position, bumps, reflection)
Switching saved designs resets properly so looks don’t overlap or stack
Sharper UI polish (rounded panels, clearer controls)
Thanks for the support — more updates coming.
