This might be one of the weirdest and most overpowered tactics I have tested in Football Manager 2026.
The Broken 4-1-1-3-1 uses an extremely unusual shape, but the results are genuinely ridiculous.
This system achieved a perfect 100% win rate, produced elite attacking numbers and dominated across multiple teams.
The numbers are insane:
100% win rate 4.5 goals per game 28.3 shots per match 3.5 non-penalty xG per game 88.2% pass completion 73.3% tackle success Only 0.5 xGA per game Only 0.7 goals conceded per game Manchester City finished with 110 Premier League points Lyon finished with 102 Ligue 1 points Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup and Community Shield won
This tactic is not normal.
It looks strange, it plays aggressively, and somehow it controls matches while completely destroying teams going forward.
WHY THIS 4-1-1-3-1 IS SO BROKEN
