This tall knight's helm is made in the likeness of a chameleon. While wearing it, you can look in any direction without turning your head, unless it's directly behind you.
In addition, you can use an action to change the pattern and color of yourself and anything that you're wearing or holding. The change is illusory, and it ends as soon as you willingly move more than half your speed on a turn, when you choose to end the effect (no action required), or if you're no longer wearing the helm. If you change your appearance in this way to better blend into your surroundings, Wisdom (Perception) checks made to see you have disadvantage until you change your appearance again or your surroundings change.
Slowly. Carefully. Colorfully. Just don't look too close at the wall while it slightly moves.
