TAS Visuals - Updates & What's next
infoAbout This Title
Important: In TAS Base, click SYNC to update everything!
After coming back from my summer tour, I’ve been working on bringing everything I learned from the festivals, along with user feedback, fixes, and optimizations, together into a major update for the Launcher and plugins. There are countless performance and functionality improvements, and the new plugins for both Windows and Mac have now been updated to the latest versions.

What’s next?
Tutorials
I’ll be working on demos for every plugin and creating tutorials on how to use them. There are a lot of hidden techniques and possibilities that I want to show you. I also want to show you how to build an entire composition using only SVG effects, as well as some artworks powered by these effects.
Online Shop
I’ve reduced a few prices and I’m trying to find a good balance between paid products and free releases. In about two weeks, my shop will go online with integrated payments, making it much easier to get more credits or buy products directly from the store.
NEW Wireframe (top video)
Wireframe is incredible and the first real 3D loader. It is all about the geometry. You can load your own FBX, OBJ and GLB models, and you can easily fix messy wireframes with the built-in retopology tools. You can also use mesh modifiers to create dynamic looks for wireframes, vertex points or faces.
NEW Fluid
This incredible emitter-based fluid engine now has a new video input mode, allowing you to use emitter movement to smear your video. Add it to a clip or layer or apply it to the full composition. It’s amazing!
NEW SVG Depth (Free)
You can feed multiple other SVG effects with the same SVG file and texture a 3D object made from your SVG. You can use the Depth Wave to make the shapes move forward and backward, creating a really nice sense of depth and movement.
NEW SVG Grid (Free)
turns any SVG into an endless, screen-filling grid of sprites. You can zoom, rotate, spin and slide forever. With the different size patterns and color modes, you can turn flat artwork into a living wall of logos, icons or letterforms.
SVG Gradient
got a great upgrade with a smoother mode change and a new falloff effect. You can fill every shape in your vector artwork with its own gradient ramp, turning a flat SVG into rich chrome, metallic, and candy-colored surfaces.
SVG Flow
SVG Flow is finally fixed and now runs smoothly, with a huge performance boost.
