TrueFoot - The next TrueFoot project
About This Title
TrueFoot In-game & Career Editor is my attempt to make an offline FC 26 career feel connected to the football world around it. The editor is only the surface. The goal is a career that reacts to your club, players, season and decisions.
Career SyncModded game have to be played offline, so FC 26’s Live Start Point is not a solution for this type of save.
Career Sync is being built as the offline alternative.
The goal is to let you simulate your career to a date you choose, review the real football context, then decide what should be brought into that save.
That can include:
League tables, fixtures, results and cup progress
Real-world transfers and squad changes
Player season statistics and form context
Club squads that reflect the point in the real season you choose
Competition structure across domestic leagues, cups and Europe
The important part is control. Nothing should be applied blindly. You review the changes first, then decide what enters your career.
Everything after that date remains your own story.
A club should feel like a clubThe long-term plan goes beyond squad ratings and transfer budgets.
Stadium naming-rights deals and sponsor agreements
Commercial objectives, loans, debt and financial pressure
Financial penalties, forced sales and promotion or relegation consequences
Youth facilities, development environments and homegrown tracking
Transfer pressure for unhappy players, loan demands and breakthrough seasons
Club identity, manager pressure and a changing manager market
A season should leave a markI am also exploring systems that react to what happens on and off the pitch:
Player workload, injuries, recovery plans and return-to-play context
Recovery tape or bandages for players coming back from injury
Dynamic boots, equipment and cold-weather clothing
Real kickoff times, weather-aware matchdays and derby atmosphere
Crowd attendance that can react to a club’s form and situation
Season reviews, event history and career analytics
Medical DepartmentThe Medical Department brings player availability, injury status, recovery and workload context into one place. It is designed to make squad decisions feel informed by more than a single fitness bar.
Body StudioPlayer identity is part of the project too. Body Studio lets you choose a player body type, tune physical scales such as the head, torso and limbs, then see those changes reflected directly in-game.
Every career is its own worldTrueFoot Career Editor is being built to recognise each Career save as its own separate world.
Its history, rules, financial situation, events and decisions stay tied to that specific save. Two careers using the same club should still be treated as two completely different stories.
I have spent a lot of time testing these systems because I do not want to rush out a buggy build. At the same time, I want to get it into your hands as early as I can. I will share it when the foundation is stable enough to be useful, not just impressive in a screenshot.
If FC 27 provides a workable modding path, I plan to carry TrueFoot In-game & Career Editor forward there too.
Your ideas matterIf you have thoughts or ideas for this project, please share them below.
I may not be able to reply to every message while I am deep in development, but I will read all of them. Some of the best ideas come from people who spend the most time living inside Career Mode.
Thanks :)
