FindingBuddies - Download New Smartphone System
About This Title
I want to show you the new smartphone system we're developing for the Finding Buddies remake!
It's still a work in progress, so some features may be incomplete, and you might come across bugs or unfinished artwork. Even so, we already have quite a few things working, and I've prepared a demo for you to try out!

The phone is now fully 3D, with all buttons functional, and will play a much bigger role in both the story and gameplay.
MessagesThe messaging app will be one of the main ways to explore the characters' stories in greater depth. Besides chatting, Daniel will also be able to receive photos, videos, and voice messages.
There will also be a dialogue choice system for text messages. Depending on your responses, your relationship with each character may develop in different ways.
When opening a contact's profile, you'll be able to check your current relationship status and read Daniel's personal notes about them. This information will be updated as the story progresses and may change significantly depending on your choices.
GalleryWe've added a gallery app where you can view photos and videos saved on Daniel's phone, organized by character. You'll be able to favorite pictures, rewatch videos, and even set any photo from the gallery as your phone's wallpaper.
LeBankMoney will also play a bigger role in the game. Through LeBank, you'll be able to keep track of Daniel's finances, and certain actions will depend on how much money he has available at that moment.
DriberDriber will work as a map where you can access the game's "missions," including both main story missions and side missions.
Side missions will play an important role in character development, allowing you to explore stories that don't directly fit into Daniel's main storyline, while also strengthening (or damaging) your relationships with those characters.
Size MattersWe've also added a minigame to the smartphone called Size Matters!
It's a modified version of the classic 21 (Blackjack), with a few different rules. The goal is to add up your cards and get as close as possible to your opponent's measurement in centimeters, without going over. Whoever wins the round gets to choose a piece of clothing for the other player to take off.
FinderFinder is still in development and will remain disabled in this demo, but it will be available in an upcoming update.
About Future UpdatesI also wanted to clear up a few questions I've received about how future Finding Buddies updates will be released.
Previously, the game was divided into relatively short chapters, each lasting around 20 to 40 minutes. For the remake, I've decided to change that format a bit.
My plan is to divide the game into larger episodes, each with approximately 1 to 1.5 hours of content. The current estimate is around 4 episodes in total.
These episodes will be released gradually on Patreon as they're completed, while keeping the early access benefits for each membership tier.
As for Steam, I plan to release the game only after all episodes are finished.
Another change concerns the Android version. I've decided to focus on Windows development first, rather than working on both platforms simultaneously.
Since the remake includes more complex systems, adapting everything to mobile devices requires a considerable amount of additional work. Developing both versions at the same time would end up delaying the release. That's why the Android version will be released after the game launches on Steam.
I hope you enjoy the new smartphone system! Please share your feedback, suggestions, and thoughts on the demo. Your feedback will be really helpful in identifying issues and improving the system as development continues.
Thank you so much for your support and patience throughout the development of the remake!
