About This Title
Hey, folks!
Our sister project Horny Herring Studios has just put out the first WIP for the Halloween scene with Lyriel that we’ve been working on together.
The post covers the preparation side of things: gathering references, picking out props, and building the lighting from the ground up, starting with an HDRI sunset and layering in the rising moon and every individual candle. It also goes into the shift from the opening shot into the confessional, and why that cramped space makes the scene feel more personal. Worth a read if you’re curious about how Lyriel ends up on screen. Part two is coming later this week.
