bigstories - Bigger Mac- August

infoAbout This Title

Big Mac makes it home just as the harvest is coming in, but after almost a whole year on the road, he's looking more like the biggest blue ribbon hog on the farm than a stallion- and his appetite's hardly slowing down on Ponyville's account. Enjoy!

************

"I can't believe the season's passed already," Applejack said, sighing a bit wistfully. "It's been a heck of a summer— this might be one of our better growing seasons, now that I think about it," She said, wiping her brow as she looked over the sprawling collection of baskets filled to the brim with freshly picked apples.

"Yep, it's a regular bumper crop," Granny Smith said in agreement, rubbing her hands together as she looked over the apples. "I'm already thinking about a few new recipes— if the reports your brother sent back are anything to go by, we are going to need a lot more spiced apple and apple caramel flavors for our goods. Ah, if we start tonight, we could make a killing when Hearth's Warming season starts amping up."

"Granny! I'm surprised, you're starting to sound like Filthy Rich." Applejack smirked.

"We've never turned a profit like this before! Turns out, I like having a lot of money, sweetie." The older mare laughed. "Don't worry— I made sure we got all of Big Mac's favorites for dinner tonight. Hah, after the work he's done on the road, I want him to eat like a king!"

The two perked up as they heard the trundling of wagon wheels on the road next to the orchard, and then Apple Bloom, further down the rows of trees in the orchard, squealed with delight. "Big Mac's back! I see him!"

Applejack and Granny Smith rushed out to meet Big Mac, but when they saw the wagon up ahead stop, then bounce wildly, they came to a halt when at last they saw him. Big Mac was now almost as wide as the wagon itself, so heavy and dense, he was in a precarious balancing act— if he so much as shifted another inch forward, he might tip over the whole wagon. The stallion's gluttonous habits had transformed him into the shape of a prize-winning melon, his enormous belly strained the denim of his overalls to bursting, thick folds of fat spilling out of the sides. A red shirt rode up from the sheer girth of his body, more akin to a bra holding back the heft of his pillowy chest, sleeves taut over thickly swaddled arms. He took up more than the driver's seat, the outermost curve of his rear spilling over on either side while keg-thick thighs, smothered by his belly, mashed together. He was double-fisting barrel-sized drinks, and hiccuped nervously as he saw his family.

"Ah— Heh!" He gulped, smiling nervously, dimpling round, chipmunk cheeks. "H-howdy! Sorry I'm a little late, uh… I had to stop for a drink, haulin' this wagon's thirsty work! Uh…" His huge stomach gurgled. "I-is that turnover I smell?" He asked hopefully.

Applejack's jaw fell open, eyes wide as saucers as she saw her brother ballooned up into a huge, obese hog of a stallion. "B-big Mac! Are… are you feeling okay?"

"Heh, eeyup!" Big Mac smiled brightly, then let out a long burp. "Heh… m-maybe a little hungry, though."
