Raceless-RLS - RLS Career Overhaul | v2.7.0.3 | Performance and Bug Fixes!

infoAbout This Title

Hey everyone! v2.7.0.3 is focused on making your day-to-day career feel more dependable. This update brings a large round of community-reported fixes across maintenance, recovery, the Marketplace, car meets, garages, police behavior and mission flow.

Thank you to everyone who shared saves, logs and detailed bug reports during the beta. That feedback directly shaped this update.

Highlights

- Maintenance wear now follows the mileage of the component itself, not simply the mileage of the vehicle. Systems that a vehicle does not have will no longer wear out, and transmission maintenance now appears correctly on transaxle vehicles.

- Recovery jobs now have a summary screen, a clearer phone icon and more dependable vehicle selection. Badly damaged and wheel-less targets are handled more reliably, and roleplay vehicles are excluded from recovery jobs.

- The Marketplace now lets you edit active listings. Damaged vehicles can be listed and sold again, and an offer can not be accepted if the vehicle was damaged after it was listed.

- Car meet club membership and scene reputation now save correctly, while purchases made at a meet use the proper sales flow.

- Parts, tuning and paint sessions now close and save more safely, reducing the chance that a newly purchased tune or part change is lost.

Maintenance and repairs

- Added a more detailed repair view to repair spots UI so smaller amounts of vehicle damage are easier to understand.

- Maintenance wear is based on the mileage accumulated by each component.

- Categories with no matching parts on the vehicle no longer wear out or fail.

- Transmission maintenance is shown correctly for transaxle vehicles.

- Repairing or replacing tires at a maintenance location no longer repairs other damage.

- Purchased tires now receive the correct condition state.

- Tires can now be sold through My Parts.

- The Career MD-Series air system has been adjusted to prevent the persistent low-air warning.

- Hardcore profile creation now includes a maintenance-mode selection.

Recovery

- Added a recovery-job summary to make the assignment and result easier to follow.

- Added a new recovery icon in the phone.

- Recovery vehicles are now selected more reliably by model and configuration.

- Removed the random missing-wheel roll; wheel-less vehicles already present in a job are handled more reliably.

- Roleplay vehicles are excluded from recovery assignments.

- Gooseneck trailers settle more cleanly when removed, with temporary coupler locking to reduce physics problems.

- Recovery vehicles no longer incorrectly receive insurance.

- Improved navigation around the recovery yard and quarry by excluding invisible roads from routing.

Marketplace, parts and vehicle shopping

- Added an Edit Listing option to active Marketplace listings.

- Restored the ability to list and sell damaged vehicles.

- Offers cannot be accepted if a listed vehicle is damaged after the listing was created.

- Marketplace and vehicle-shopping pages return to the top when changing pages.

- Added page controls to the top of the Marketplace vehicle list.

- Car meet purchases should more reliably complete.

- Parts and tuning saves are serialized to prevent a purchased tune from being overwritten.

- My Parts, tuning and paint now close cleanly after an explicit save.

- Improved handling for unusual vehicle IDs during parts purchases.

Car meets

- Club membership now persists correctly between sessions.

- Fixed save and load paths for scene reputation.

- Fixed scene reputation unexpectedly resetting.

Garages and saving

- Restored the five-minute autosave interval with queue- retained "< 5 mph" auto save logic

- Improved computer and save behavior around garage interactions.

- Starter garages are no longer free to purchase.

- Chinatown Overflow now has a standard garage computer and is priced at $65,000.

- The What's New screen is larger, keeps its button visible and waits until Career Mode is ready before accepting input.

Police, taxi and loaners

- Walking or retrieving a vehicle should no longer incorrectly trigger a police pursuit.

- Loaner vehicles no longer incorrectly receive a police role.

- Police AI is less likely to target the player while the player is working as police.

- Restored BeamNG's standard taxi system and removed the old duplicate cab implementation.

- Player no longer pursued by police for infractions made by the taxi driver

- Loaners now spawn facing the correct direction more consistently.

Missions, racing and traffic

- AI racers received an aggression adjustment.

- Fixed long loading times of vanilla missions (i.e. Alder Drag)

- Traffic reload waits until the player has been restored after a vanilla mission.

- Parking calls now share the same placement rules, improving spacing and consistency.

- Improved parked-vehicle placement so cars are less likely to pile into one area.

- Fixed deferred parked-traffic filling so parking areas populate more reliably.

- Raised the drag-strip return-road speed limit to 55 mph.

- Separated navigation and traffic building to stop lag and weird routing behavior

Weather and general fixes

- Fog now appears only under the intended weather conditions and will "fade" in rather than snap.

- Fixed excessive save requests that could cause repeated saving.

- Hardened several loading paths so missing access points or data do not stop Career Mode from loading.

- Improved the stability of the What's New screen during Career startup.

Please keep the reports coming, especially if you can include what you were doing, the vehicle involved and whether the issue happens again after reloading your save. Have fun with the update!
