"Hey, Pumbaa…" Timon scratched his head. "I, uh… I think I'm a little worried about Simba."
The warthog frowned. "What? You, worried? But Timon, you're the King of Hakuna Matata. And what's wrong with Simba? He's fine, he's living life and staying here for another week, isn't that what you wanted?"
"Yeah, but, and I can't believe I'm saying this…" Timon spread his hands. "I think… Simba might be taking things a little too far, because Pumbaa, think about this. What do you think all those angry, serious lionesses are going to do when they see what happened to their king when he was staying with us?"
Pumbaa shook his head. "Aw, c'mon Timon… I'm sure it's not that bad."
The meerkat gave the warthog a long look before silently canting his head for Pumbaa to follow him.
"Hey, Simba! Pumbaa had a question for ya," Timon called out as he walked through the brush to the waterside, and as Pumbaa walked out, he was stunned into silence.
The lion, sprawled out and sunning himself by the oasis' waters, looked like he had eaten a fully grown hippo. Every part of him was round, soft, and blubbery, his sprawling belly pooling at the sides, a huge, cushioned mattress for the rest of his rotund body to rest on— though with him resting on his belly, the real star was his enormous rear, like a giant pair of melons propped up in the air, leading down to thickened thighs with thick rolls mashed against one another— it almost looked like he was one big meal away from his belly making sure his feet would never touch the ground again.
"Ooh…" Pumbaa muttered to Timon. "We, uh— we might need to do something about that Meat Box…"
"Huh?" Simba looked over, smiling wide enough to dimple his round cheeks. "What's up, Pumbaa?"
"U-uh… I just, uh, didn't know what you wanted for dinner!"
"Oh, heh! Doesn't matter much, just so long as there's a lot of it!" Simba chuckled, patting his flabby side and sending ripples across his body.
Pumbaa forced a smile as he gave a slightly panicked look to Timon. "Hey, sounds great, kid, heh!" Timon chuckled nervously.
