“What do you mean he fed you a cookie?” Taehyung shakes him by the shoulders outside the club. “Why didn’t you start the conversation with that?”
Jeongguk is pleasantly buzzed, he kind of had new faith in that whole drink to forget type of thing, except he’s now drunk talking about it to Taehyung.
“Well— cause, he’s still with Dongwon so it can’t really mean anything.”
“Sure it can.” Yoongi breathes out his cigarette smoke. “It sounds like he’s kind of trying to gauge if you’re into him.”
“Exactly. Cookie feeding is the gayest thing ever come on, you wouldn’t feed your roommate?”
“Well but..” Jeongguk rubs the back of his neck, hiccups. “What if he’s just being nice?”
Taehyung immediately rolls his eyes, gives Yoongi a look, then squeezes his shoulders a little tighter, leans in closer.
“Did he do the cliche thing of wiping your lips?”
Jeongguk’s breath hitches at the memory, and Taehyung scoffs, leans back with the slightest shake of his head.
“I knew it. Your roommate is gay.”
“We knew that already.” Yoongi deadpans.
“He’s gay and trying to gobble you up.”
“Gross.” Yoongi makes a face. “Don’t say gobble.”
Jeongguk blinks a few times, the world spins.
“But he’s.. taken.”
“Yeah well he’s either trying to have a little bit of the both of you or he’s breaking up soon.”
“And if it’s the first one you should distance yourself.” Yoongi adds. “Don’t get caught up in that mess.”
They probably don’t really get it. Jimin is nothing but nice to him and it’s only awkward because he can’t control his crush. The cookie feeding.. that’s just kindness, just like how Jimin always makes them tea and has this little blanket ready, it’s just how Jimin is.
Yes Yoongi and Taehyung might have more experience since they’re both into men but they don’t know Jimin like him.
“He’s not into me like that. He even said let’s stop anime nights and go to the gym instead.”
“The gym?” Taehyung’s eyes widen, as if that’s the most scandalous thing in the world. “What, he wants to see you all worked up and sweaty?”
“I’m pretty sure that’s not what he m—“
“He wants to see you naked, oh my god.” Taehyung shakes his head. “Sneaky.”
“Take it easy.” Yoongi curls a hand around Taehyung’s shoulder. “Let Jeongguk come to his own conclusions.”
At least Yoongi gets it. He’s about to say thank you when Yoongi passes him on the way back inside the club with a: “He’ll come to us after that first gym session saying we were right.”
Taehyung just chuckles, gives him a pat on his head and goes back inside as well.
He just stands there a little longer, huffs out a breath.
What about a gym session can even be gay?
