Okay, android downloader continues to work, but it's got a problem where I couldn't quite switch the version properly, but it's something that can be gotten around as long as you BACK UP YOUR SAVES. Next week I will be including a built in renpy save backerer upper. It puts the saves on a cloud (anonymously) and attaches about a 6 letter code that you can download them on any internet connected system with the same code. It says it keeps them for an hour or two, but the documentation says it keeps them for a day. That should at the very least make transferring saves super easy!
Now, as for actual content, it's all along a fairly linear path. You can talk to Jenny, Carla and Haily. And let me tell you, the Haily one did not go in the direction I was expecting!
It's a little hard to really make a big deal out of them because normally I'm talking about context and locations and such... but these aren't exactly hidden. Is this what development is like for regular VN devs?
Still, I did also go back and up the stakes of some older scenes. Something else I'm not really used too. I get the feeling I'll be revisiting and tweaking these scenes a bunch. They HAVE to be good and I'm trying to communicate some rather subtle things, but I also don't want to bloat things or shorten things unnecessarily.
And knowing that I'll be coming back to them is a bit of a weight off my mind. I wish I could make them perfect to start with, but I don't know the shape of every piece (even if I know the picture they make) until I've finished. So making sure everything fits together... that's the trick.
So I'll just leave you tonight with these wise words.
