So, another week and a half has passed since the release of the last full version, and, surprisingly, since the weekly news. During this time, we've accomplished a huge amount of work, and most importantly, we've done a little more work on the game's performance and stability. But first things first.

First, performance. As you know from the last weekly news, we've been working on it for a while. This time, we've fully finalized it, with a few tweaks. Initial loading of any NPC has become even faster thanks to certain tricks, such as an improved LOD system, hiding appearance details when downscaling thumbnails, completely redesigned filtering (so skin tones/hiding details on-screen don't impact performance as much as before), improved image prediction, and several other systems. Previously, only female NPCs opened instantly, but now this applies to males as well. The game has become incredibly smooth since then, especially when compared to RNPCs in general.

Secondly, randomized NPCs. We've improved almost everything related to the editor, so let's start with the most basic – biographies. The biographies menu in the NPC editor has been improved: the ability to select existing biographies has been completely removed. The buttons for this feature now regenerate the history according to the current system. The "Edit" button has been moved slightly lower to avoid overlapping the biographical text. A scrollbar has been added to the interface itself to more clearly illustrate the scrolling functionality, and the same scrollbar has been added to the biography menu when the full biographies are displayed.

A mini-interface with basic information about an NPC has been added to the NPC editor when hovering over them with your cursor or finger. It displays a thumbnail of their appearance and basic information about them. This is done so that players can learn about the appearance of any NPC before actually customizing them, avoiding unnecessary clicks and making the NPC editor interface more user-friendly.

Two new, specialized randomization buttons have been added to the NPC editor: you can completely generate the face and body separately for an existing character if you're not satisfied with something but don't want to create a character from scratch. These buttons are also available in your character editor when customizing their appearance.

You can now set your character's birthday in the main character editor. This is a separate mechanic that allows NPCs to give you gifts. Furthermore, this same setting has been added to the NPC editor, allowing you to customize the NPC's birthday as well, something that has long had its own mechanics.

In the NPC editor, you can now add special relationships between NPCs: you can make them friends, lovers, or, conversely, remove a lover if one was present after the game session was created. The most common complaint after introducing romantic relationships between NPCs was that the NPC was always occupied after their creation. This is no longer a problem—you can customize absolutely everything. Even friends, if you don't want excessive personality changes throughout a game session, or, if you prefer, the opposite, testing all the game world simulation capabilities.

In the RNPC editor, you can now choose a job/part-time job for your RNPC, or make them unemployed. MILFs have full-time jobs that differ from typical in-game part-time jobs—they require education. The interface itself displays the length of shifts, the locations in which the RNPC will work, whether the RNPC is currently available for dialogue, their weekly salary—all the basic information, in addition to their name.

Improved clothing system: girls wear sportswear in gyms, martial arts halls, and so on; less revealing clothing for temples; and more casual clothing for cafes. Some local reworkings have already been made in this direction, which will make the world more lifelike.

The system of labor and everything that RNPC earn money for has been improved: now, each job brings them a certain weekly profit. It's not a random amount, but a precise one, based on their qualifications, the job, and the existing economic component of the game. This will significantly enhance player immersion when they can observe these details throughout the game session. The scene we've been showing you for three weeks now is almost ready for integration, but for now, you can see some of the progress here:

Third, plot changes. The redrawing of Hitomi Watanabe has been completed, and redrawing for a secret fan has begun. The redrawing of the main characters will be completed soon, and there will be a huge number of new scenes featuring the main characters... For now, we just have to wait a little longer:

Fourth, systemic changes. And... Here comes a truly massive innovation that could completely alter the gameplay: simplifying it in some places, while complicating it in others. This massive innovation comes in the form of neutral skills, of which there are now five: Attractiveness, Toughness, Psyche, Genius, and Entrepreneurship. Attractiveness affects your communication, Toughness affects your physical health, Psyche affects your mood, Genius affects perks, and Entrepreneurship affects your money. Each of these dramatically changes gameplay; lowering them can literally turn a character into an amoeba, while maximum values can completely disable some negative effects. For example, with a high Psyche level, your character will never become depressed or apathetic, and at the lowest, they will always be depressed. The same applies to each neutral skill, which by default is worth 2 points, and at the start of the game you're given 2 points to level up. Every 60 points of Cunning gives you another 1. You can make a character completely stupid by disabling skill leveling, but make them mentally impenetrable. This is only available at the very beginning of the game, so be careful – after that, you can't change it, only by restarting the game.

Attraction:At the lowest level, any action with the NPC reduces the relationship gain by 60 percent, and there's a 10 percent chance that the action will fail regardless. At the highest level, any action with the NPC increases the relationship gain by over 100 percent, increases the success rate by 10 percent, and permanently increases the success rate by 40 points. All NPCs grant 10 to 35 love points after each game session.Increasing the values slightly increases the amount of money received for any activity, success in interacting with the NPC, and more relationship points for each interaction with the NPC.Strength:At the highest level - limb health never drops below 50 percent, physical attributes level up twice as fast, permanently increased by 20 points, maximum level of physical attributes increased by 20 points, energy and satiety required for any action are more than half as much, fertility is significantly higher than the base level, and energy per sleep is doubled. At the lowest level - physical attributes level up half as fast, limb health decreases one and a half times as fast, permanently decreased by 20 points, energy and satiety required for any action are more than twice as much, fertility is significantly lower than the base level, and there is no chance of pregnancy.Increasing the values reduces the amount of HP removed from limbs, physical attributes level up faster. Attributes, higher energy and satiety requirements.Mental:At the highest level, a permanent increase to the Authority and Luck attributes by 80 points. It's impossible to become depressed/apathetic, or even neutral—your character will always be in a positive mood. It's impossible to become addicted to cigarettes. During fights, even if you have less than 0 HP, there's a small chance your character will continue fighting while remaining on their feet.At the lowest level, a character can enter a permanent depressive mood at any time. Their mood can suddenly and very likely drop to a negative level without any apparent reason. A character can become depressed for an hour and literally do nothing for no apparent reason. A permanent decrease to Authority and Luck by 80 points. When increased, it significantly affects buffs/debuffs: buffs affect your character in large quantities, while debuffs affect your character in smaller quantities.

Genius:At the highest level, three times more experience for any action, 20 perk points available from the start, and an increased stipend of an additional 10,000 credits weekly. At the lowest level, the level does not increase at all, experience cannot be increased, and a permanent debuff of 20 attribute points is applied.Increasing the value increases the experience for any action, the amount available for purchasing perks based on the formula: Intelligence points multiplied by the Genius level, which is reduced by one point.Entrepreneurship:At the highest level, a permanent increase to the Dexterity attribute by 30 points, a 10kg increase in carry weight, 100 Pickpocket skill and 40 Robbery skill at the very beginning of the game, 100 Programming skill, x2 money earned for any activity, and 20 Hacking skill at the very beginning of the game.At the lowest value, you earn 20 percent of your normal earnings. Your Dexterity attribute is permanently reduced by 40 points, and you start the game with zero money, regardless of your character editor selection.Increasing the value significantly increases your earnings for any action. The percentage itself is x4 of what Attractiveness provides, meaning more money at the very beginning of the game. The last minor update needed for the character editing interface is a summary screen in the character editing interface. This screen displays all the choices the player made during character creation, summarizes the overall results, and shows which attribute/neutral skill points were spent and which were not—all so the player can double-check and be confident in their progress. Players can also change their nickname there if they don't understand how to do so.

Fifth, bug fixes and code refactoring. This is where we've accomplished most of the work in this short period of time, and here, as usual, we'll move on to the full changelog, which is relevant for version 981b:

New content:

A major innovation is the introduction of neutral skills, five of which are now available: Attractiveness, Toughness, Psyche, Genius, and Entrepreneurship. Attractiveness affects your communication, Toughness affects your physical health, Psyche affects your mood, Genius affects perks, and Entrepreneurship affects money. Each of these skills dramatically changes gameplay; lowering them can literally turn a character into an amoeba, while maximum values can completely disable some negative effects. For example, with a high Psyche, your character won't be able to become depressed or apathetic, while at the lowest level, they'll always be depressed. The same applies to each neutral skill, which has a default value of 2 points, and at the start of the game you're given 2 points to level up. Every 60 points of Cunning gives you another 1. You can make a character completely stupid by disabling skill leveling, but make them mentally impenetrable. This is only available at the very beginning of the game, so be careful – after this, you cannot change it; you must restart the game. The biographies menu in the RNPC editor has been improved: the ability to select existing biographies has been completely removed. The buttons for this feature now regenerate the history according to the current system. The "Edit" button has been moved slightly lower to avoid overlapping the biography text. A scrollbar has been added to the interface itself to more clearly illustrate the scrolling mechanics, and the same scrollbar has been added to the biography menu when the full biography is displayed.A mini-interface with basic information about an RNPC has been added to the RNPC editor when hovering over it with your cursor or finger. It displays a thumbnail of their appearance and basic information about them. This is done so that players can learn about the appearance of any RNPC before actually setting them up, avoiding unnecessary clicks and making the RNPC editor interface more user-friendly.Game performance has been further improved when it comes to loading NPCs. Initial loading of any NPC has become even faster thanks to certain tricks, such as an improved LOD system, hiding appearance details when downscaling thumbnails, completely different filtering behavior so that skin tones/hiding details on-screen don't impact performance as much as before, improvements to the image prediction system, and several other systems.Randomized male NPC loading has been accelerated to match that of female NPCs—nearly instantaneous—due to hiding some unnecessary sprite details and optimizing existing files overall. Even faster loading of NPCs and female NPCs due to hiding some unnecessary details in thumbnails.Improved clothing system: female NPCs now wear athletic clothing in gyms, martial arts halls, and so on; less revealing clothing for temples; and more casual clothing for cafes. Some local reworks have already been made in this area, which will make the world more lifelike. The final screen in your character editing interface displays all the choices the player made during character creation, summarizes the overall results, and shows which attribute/neutral skill points were spent and which were not—all so the player can double-check and feel confident in their progress. Players can also change their nickname there if they don't understand how to do so.You can now set your character's birthday in the main character editor. This is a separate mechanic that allows NPCs to give you gifts. Furthermore, this same setting has been added to the NPC editor, allowing you to customize the NPC's birthday as well, something that has long been handled separately. Two new, specialized randomization buttons have been added to the NPC editor: you can completely generate the face and body separately for an existing character if you're not satisfied with something, but don't want to literally generate a character from scratch. These buttons are also available in your character editor when customizing their appearance. In the NPC editor, you can now add special relationships between NPCs: you can make them friends, lovers, or, conversely, remove a lover if one was already present after creating a game session. This is no longer a problem—you can customize absolutely everything. Even friends, if you don't want unnecessary personality changes throughout a game session, or, if you prefer, do the opposite after testing all the game world simulation features.

In the RNPC editor, you can now choose a job/part-time job for a RNPC or make them unemployed. MILFs have full-time jobs that differ from typical part-time jobs in the game—they require education. The interface displays shift lengths, the locations in which the RNPC will work, whether the RNPC is currently available for conversation, their weekly salary—all the basic information, in addition to their name. The job system and everything that RNPC earn money for have been improved: each job now brings a specific weekly profit. This is not a random value, but a precise one, based on their qualifications, their job, and the existing economic system of the game. This will significantly enhance player immersion when they can observe these details throughout a game session. Now in the RNPC editor interface, a full list of RNPC is available, where you can switch between them, change their appearance, etc. The selected character and the character standing in front of you on the screen are now displayed, which was previously unclear and the interface was not very intuitive. The operation of thumbnails with RNPC has been improved, reducing issues with incorrect display along the x and y axes, which disrupted the overall appearance of the sprite and could be unpleasant to use.Story-related RNPC are now also available for editing in the RNPC editor if they are generated at the very beginning of a game session.

Fixed bugs:

Fixed a bug where your character's money balance would sometimes reset without any apparent reason, leaving you without any means to survive.Fixed a bug where your character's thumbnail in the "Profile" category of the diary interface could extend beyond the screen and interface, causing it to appear incorrect.Fixed a bug where the interaction interface with story character Ayano Yoshida displayed two "Blowjob" buttons, one of which directly linked to a kissing interaction with her.Fixed a bug where sometimes, when entering the appropriate location in the women's shower, the game would not display the appropriate scene as intended.Fixed a bug where the "Help Me in the Hall" event could be played by a man instead of the woman for whom it was originally designed, which simply broke the scene's meaning.Fixed a bug that could cause the game to throw exceptions when opening the RNPC messaging menu and attempting to send messages to AI.Fixed a bug where, when playing in Spanish, the main interface where you could access the RNPC interaction interface would not display the correct translation.Fixed a bug where subsequently lending any amount of money to a randomized NPC would trigger an exception due to passing invalid data to a variable.Fixed a bug that would cause the game to throw exceptions in some rare cases when your character entered the women's shower stall.Fixed a bug that could cause the game to crash without any reason immediately after opening the character library interface from the RNPC/character editor if the number of saved characters was large.Fixed an issue where the corresponding interface for breast/appearance settings for your story characters might not have a background behind the interface before the start of a game session, causing it to look odd and incorrect in perspective.Fixed an issue where the text on the buttons in the biography interface did not match what the buttons opened.Fixed a bug where the game could throw exceptions when attempting to open the cafe interface at certain rare points in gameplay after exiting other interfaces.Fixed a bug where some missionary scene settings would not reset at all, which could lead to potential issues and interfere with sub-settings in the sexual encounter interface with randomized NPCs in the "missionary" position.Fixed a bug where the body of the selected NPC was not displayed properly in the NPC editor: it was always a second body type, spoiling the overall appearance.Fixed an issue where the initial calculation of randomized NPCs from the NPC editor's clothing could lead to graphical glitches.Fixed an issue where the NPC/your character's attribute value could have a fractional value instead of an integer.

Fixed a bug where some events involving the story character Suzuki Matsui could throw exceptions in recently added events.Fixed a bug where the nose position on the female NPC sprite was incorrect due to the loss of necessary data for its position.Fixed a bug where the game would throw an exception when attempting to navigate to a marker if you didn't have enough money to repay a debt to a randomized NPC.Fixed a bug where the game would throw exceptions if you asked the guide for help with NPC mechanics at the very beginning of a game session before attempting to do so.Fixed a bug where the game could throw exceptions if you entered incorrect text into the "Say something" interaction field or when writing a custom interface.Fixed a bug where, when customizing your character's appearance, you could open the full list of NPCs that hadn't yet been generated, completely breaking the interface. Everything now functions properly.Fixed a bug where the game would throw exceptions when attempting to open the Journalism Club management interface, with a small chance.Fixed a bug where a girl might not reach orgasm during sexual intercourse due to certain manipulations/attributes, etc., causing the scene itself to break.Fixed a bug where the game could throw exceptions without any apparent reason in rare gameplay situations due to text loading.Fixed a bug where the game could throw exceptions in the corresponding interfaces for scenes with randomized NPCs when they were wearing cat ears as an accessory from the RNPC editor. Fixed a bug where it was possible to spam the "Here and Now" skill, infinitely leveling up your character.Fixed a bug where the RNPC's appearance thumbnail could have a different nose than the full-sized RNPC sprite. This only affected female RNPCs.Fixed a bug where, during the event where Ayano Yoshida gets sick, the file display would show that the files could not be found, blocking the entire screen and interfering with the gameplay.Fixed a bug where changing pubic hair settings did not work correctly, preventing the changes from being saved in the RNPC editor and your character.Fixed a bug where the game could throw exceptions during missionary position interactions with randomized NPCs in certain cases when your character was engaging in petting with a female RNPC.Fixed a bug where the "Sexual Experience" perk did not properly affect your character's sexual performance at all.Fixed a bug where a thumbnail with randomized male NPCs would float if opened after a thumbnail with a randomized female NPC.Fixed a bug where it was impossible to download in-game mods through the corresponding mod interface.Fixed a bug where the game would open cut content, which could cause bugs and exceptions later.Fixed an issue where the "ejaculation" peak was incorrectly calculated and could go negative after many ejaculations, requiring excessive time masturbating to increase it.Fixed a bug where, when opening the full hairstyle list interface, the corresponding tabs would display only one hairstyle instead of the entire list.Fixed a bug that prevented the player from reading a character's full biography in the biography menu in the NPC editing interface.Fixed a bug where relationships with randomized NPCs could change incorrectly after sexual encounters with 18+ characters. This resulted in the interaction being with one NPC, but the relationship rewards for this, including vulgarity, sexual experience, and other rewards, would be given to another NPC.Fixed a bug that could cause the game to throw exceptions when importing/exporting NPCs of any gender, with a small chance, through the corresponding character library interface.Fixed a bug that could cause ambient music to malfunction and not activate as intended in certain locations. Everything now functions properly and without any issues.Fixed a bug where the display of a randomized NPC sprite could have some specific issues and cause exceptions when using this system with other related systems: in the occult club management interface, etc.

Fixed a bug where it could rain in closed locations where it simply shouldn't.Fixed an issue where, after leveling up an attribute, its value might not change in the corresponding tabs in the diary or phone.Fixed a bug where the erection potion didn't work properly and didn't change the duration of your sexual intercourse with randomized NPCs.Fixed a bug where your character's attributes were displayed incorrectly and simply didn't take into account all the effects from the character editor.Fixed a bug where the game could throw exceptions in some rare situations while playing the game's story with Yuki Oota, during the storyline selection event during the meeting.Fixed a bug where the "Status" text, where your character's status is displayed, wouldn't adjust to the interface and would extend beyond it.Fixed a bug where, if you initially played in Russian and then changed the language to English, the RNPC's first and last names would remain in Russian. Now, in this case, the game will rewrite the RNPC's names as transliterated ones, and the entire game will be in English, as it should have been from the start.Fixed a bug where, during an RNPC's declaration of love for your character, the kissing and hand-holding scenes could overlap, completely disrupting the scene visually.Fixed a bug where the game could throw exceptions when attempting to create an autosave, which could cause them to appear seemingly "out of nowhere."Fixed a bug where, when interacting with Ayano Yoshida while she was living in your house, you would be kicked out of the academy by a security guard on weekends instead of the normal menu, even though you weren't actually at the academy at the time.Fixed a bug where your character's thumbnail could appear naked if your character was in the Beach location.

As you can see, a lot of work has been done to refine certain systems and mechanics, create greater depth in gameplay, and make the game itself more stable and enjoyable to play, even smoother overall. Additionally, a huge number of bugs have been fixed. For a while, we'll be stopping further optimization work and gathering some feedback on what's already been done—the game should run perfectly on any device by now. You can try all of this out in version 981b, which is available now, or in version 982, which, as usual, will be available on September 27th. Even more content and interesting features are planned for this version—you'll just have to wait a little while.
