Pure Light - Lie down on the bed

About This Title

I’m working on the next expansion for the Pure Light Visual Engine!

This time, it’s a brand-new in-cab camera sequence system.

In the video, you can see a transition from the driver's seat to the bunk. The camera doesn't instantly teleport to the target position; instead, it moves through a series of saved waypoints. This makes the movement look much more natural—as if the driver actually got up from the wheel and walked across the cabin.

Each sequence can consist of up to 10 stages, with individual settings for each:

camera position (X, Y, and Z axes)

rotation (Pitch, Yaw, and Roll)

travel time to the specific point

custom keybind to trigger the sequence

When the sequence ends, the camera returns to the seat along the exact same path, just in reverse order. The movement remains fluid throughout, without pausing between stages.

The system works without Tobii, TrackIR, or OpenTrack, yet it remains fully compatible with head-tracking devices.

And this is just the beginning of what this feature can do.

Ultimately, you’ll be able to create your own custom transitions throughout the entire cabin—to the bunk, the passenger seat, towards storage compartments, the doors, or practically anywhere else inside the truck.
