Do you want interior lighting in your truck, but the available mods don’t meet your expectations?
Introducing Pure Light Visual Engine: Cabin Light - another feature of my graphics plugin that allows you to design your truck’s interior lighting exactly the way you want it.
Cabin Light isn’t just a coloured dot attached to the screen. The light is rendered directly within the HDR scene, interacts with the interior surfaces, and remains fixed to the truck regardless of camera movement.
What can you do with it?
Add up to 26 independent light sources.
Freely position each light along the X, Y and Z axes.
Rotate each light using Pitch, Yaw and Roll controls.
Choose virtually any colour with a full RGB colour picker.
Adjust the intensity, range and softness of every light individually.
Set the lighting range up to a maximum of 2 metres.
Enable or disable each light source independently.
Add, duplicate and remove individual lights.
Use Mirror X to automatically create a mirrored light on the opposite side of the truck.
Enable the axis preview:
red - X axis,
green - Y axis,
blue - Z axis,
yellow - light direction.
Assign your own hotkey to control the entire Cabin Light system
Enjoy smooth fade-in and fade-out transitions. The lights take approximately 1.5 seconds to reach full brightness or switch off completely.
Seamlessly reverse the transition - if you turn the lights back on while they are fading out, they will brighten smoothly from their current level without any sudden jump.
The system uses the centre of the truck as its reference point, so the lighting remains attached to the vehicle when using both interior and exterior cameras. It doesn’t require dedicated locators prepared for a specific model, meaning it has also been designed with modded trucks in mind.
You can create subtle warm interior lighting, red night lighting, atmospheric RGB illumination, or turn your cab into a complete light show. The choice is entirely yours
