About This Title

ATTENTION: XOC, UNLOCKS AND COMPATIBILITY

Implementing the new NVIDIA unlocks proved to be extremely complex. Their behavior depends on the exact GPU model, board design, VBIOS, driver version and internal NVIDIA structures. Despite prior compatibility assessment and extensive validation, I cannot guarantee identical success on every user system.

XOC is an extreme overclocking mode that extends or modifies factory hardware limits. In inexperienced or irresponsible hands, it can cause instability, TDRs, driver restarts, loss of unsaved data, overheating, component degradation or hardware damage. If you do not understand what a specific setting changes and what the consequences may be, do not enable XOC.

This update focuses on the tools you use every day:

More stable NVIDIA XOC: improved compatibility and recovery after driver resets, with clearer status when something goes wrong.

Redesigned monitoring: cleaner sensor groups, updated CPU and GPU readings, and two tables that can independently display a CCD, CPU, DRAM, or GPU. Double-click a numeric sensor to open its history chart and statistics.

External control API: build your own CPU or GPU OC sandbox, scripts, and dashboards. Read current settings and apply live changes without editing saved HYDRA profiles.

Advanced Radeon tuning: on supported RDNA 3 and RDNA 4 GPUs, tune voltage curves, power and clock limits, and memory timings where available. Only AMD Radeon Software Adrenalin 26.7.1.

A new approach to DRAM diagnostics: DDR4 and DDR5 timing searches now run in logical groups with separate limits and saved progress. If a group fails, HYDRA restores the previous values.

Build 2320 is being released in parts. Part 2 is planned for next week and will bring several major features. These additions involve a huge amount of new code, and we need more time to test them thoroughly before release.

BUILD 2320 CHANGELOG:

Radeon Direct Tuning. Added a profile editor for selected RDNA 3 and RDNA 4 Radeon GPUs, with voltage curves, power and clock limits, and memory timings. Settings are verified and saved per physical GPU.

Monitoring. Reworked the monitoring UI to make sensor data easier to find and read. The tables have clearer groups, updated CPU and GPU readings, and independent CCD, CPU, DRAM or GPU views. Double-click a numeric sensor to open its history chart and statistics.

CPU Control API. HYDRA now exposes a local API for building your own CPU OC sandbox, scripts and dashboards. You can read supported ranges and current settings, then apply live CO, PBO2, Manual OC, Curve Shaper, BCLK and eCLK changes. Per-core commands follow the detected CPU layout, and API changes do not edit saved profiles. A guide and examples are included.

GPU Control API. HYDRA now exposes a local API for building your own NVIDIA or Radeon OC sandbox, scripts and dashboards. You can read supported controls and current values, then apply live changes to a selected physical GPU. API changes do not edit saved RTX-TUNER or RX-TUNER profiles.

RTSS Overlay. Showing or hiding the HYDRA OSD, including with Ctrl+Alt+F6, no longer interrupts monitoring, PresentMon or an active HGCI session.

NVIDIA Reliability. Improved XOC compatibility and recovery on supported GPUs and Windows versions. HYDRA better distinguishes new driver crashes from old reports, avoids unnecessary resets and gives clearer recovery results.

Italian Localization. Added Italian as the eighth language for tooltips across tuning, diagnostics and monitoring.

DRAM Diagnostics. DDR4 and DDR5 timing searches now run in groups with separate limits, restoration of previous values after a failed group and saved progress. Existing DDR4 Phoenix diagnostic sessions must be started again.

PresentMon. Updated the bundled collector to version 2.6.0 with more frame, display, latency and shader-compilation data. HYDRA now reads the CSV header for each session so added or reordered columns do not distort FPS and latency measurements.

KNOWN ISSUES:

False positive of antivirus (like always).
