The final version of the Between Rounds Prologue is now publicly available!
Act 3 is complete, and with v3.1 I also went back through the earlier parts of the game to improve the overall experience from beginning to end.
ACT 3Act 3 alone includes:
835 new images — about 40% more than the previous release
100 new animations — about 79% more
16,348 lines of Ren’Py code — about 35% more
Act 3 completes the Prologue and brings both main routes to their full Prologue conclusion, with new fights, character development, route-specific scenes, fan service, NSFW content, and the transition into the next stage of the story.
But v3.1 also includes a major revision of the earlier parts of the game.
ACT 1 — IMPROVEMENTS55 visual fixes and corrections across existing scenes.
Dialogue improvements throughout the entire act.
Reduced repetitive wording and recurring expressions.
Reduced unnecessary internal monologue.
Improved pacing, character voices, and overall dialogue flow.
Minor continuity and technical corrections.
ACT 2 — IMPROVEMENTSDialogue improvements throughout the entire act.
Reduced repetitive wording and recurring expressions.
Improved pacing, character voices, and overall dialogue flow.
Corrected several route-specific dialogue and continuity inconsistencies.
Minor technical fixes and corrections.
The story, choices, and major events in Acts 1 and 2 remain unchanged.
These revisions make the earlier parts of the Prologue flow much better and bring the writing closer to the quality and character consistency established in Act 3.
This is now the FINAL VERSION of the Between Rounds Prologue.
DOWNLOADWindows / LinuxMacANDROID NOTICEI did try to prepare an Android release, but the current build size creates packaging limitations that I’m not able to solve reliably at this time.
Because of that, there won’t be an Android version in the near future. For now, Between Rounds will continue on Windows/Linux and Mac.

Now that the full Prologue is complete, this is an important moment for the future of Between Rounds.
The project has grown enormously in scope, and I’ll be looking closely at how the complete Prologue performs in terms of player reception, growth, and support.
If the project can continue growing sustainably, I’m excited to keep expanding the story and taking Between Rounds much further from here.
