About This Title
Hello everyone, hope you've liked what you've seen so far with the latest update! There were some hiccups because of animation errors and the Emi model was updated so it's been a hassle getting her animations caught up with the additions. There's still some fixing that needs to be done, but now the animations are implemented into state logic. The next immediate step is getting it playable after doing some hotfixes regarding release bugs.
HotfixesHotfixes will be rolling out as we hear more from you all who have been playing and coming across unique bugs or issues. If you check the post with the download link you'll be able to see the list of fixes updated since release (The same links will be updated with the hotfixes in the post).
A few more bugs and issues we're aware of and looking into
Shader issues with the globe (See through tower issues)
Issues regarding clipping through the floor. (objects clipping through elevator)
Trash not going into the dumpster if placed in too fast.

Works in ProgressAnimation for the Emi performance review is still progressing on the final bits (The mouth-play segment). Finishing those and polishing everything up is the last step regarding asset production for the event. In the meantime, the gameplay will be implemented for what is currently available. In the current build, the struggle-related animations are available to preview, but the intro has also been implemented on the project-side. This will be shown in the full gameplay release of the event.
CLEARING THE SHIZUNE EVENT! Yes, the Shizune event will at last be clearable soon. The animation for her sparing you is already finished and ready for implementation. As long as your Emi satisfaction is high enough you will be able to turn fate around with your boss' help and be spared Shizune's casual wrath.
The Arena will be getting some attention. Aerona's stomps will now dynamically track her targets with more accuracy. This will help her especially at smaller sizes where it's harder to squash running targets. We also want to start implementing the resource gathering elements of the game mode. As mentioned in previous dev posts, there will be loot crates added from which you may acquire more tower resources. A major sound pass is also going to be a focus among animation tweaks for when Aerona gets really really big.
Further Down the LineThe Darcey event animated by Lajest is getting some progress done. You will be caught up in the middle of some Darcey antics as she makes a mess of your city. Being forced into this situation, you will have to find a way to save yourself and the entire tower.
So far all progress regarding the Darcey event is currently just the animation itself. Work on this will take time because time is also being dedicated to Perfect Order standalone animations simultaneously. However, once the Darcey event is fully animated, then gameplay implementation will be added so the player can save themselves and survive the event. Gameplay will involve using the console to disrupt her ability to stream.
The audio pass for the game in its entirety will also be a focus over a long period of time. Sounds are something we want to put in a lot of work for because they really sell the scale of the girls in-game. That heart sink feeling when you feel the overwhelming presence of a giant woman nearing your location, or growing even larger than before is something we want to hit the player with with hard. The Arena mode will be getting this treatment first and foremost, but this will continue throughout the entirety of the game and for signals as development progresses.
MORE SIGNALS are in the works. A lot of talented artists have helped and contributed to making signal art for the game and we want to say you are all AWESOME. The work you guys put and those that commission your works are very much appreciated and the game would have a lot less signals without your contribution. Some signals are completed and a lot are being worked on currently. Something we want for the signals is for it to feel like it pertains more to your immediate danger. Sweet Chocolate (me hello) is working on a pair of signals that pertain to a big story-beat in the game, it's going to be a handful of illustrations regarding a new character within the world of Perfect Order and its wolf girl faction. These signals you bring in are luring in girls whose intentions are unknown and very likely life threatening. Your boss is Emi after all, and she has an extreme need for all things sizey. Not even the tower is safe if she deems it a good enough sacrifice for a little bit of fun.
The Arena Mode will get a lot more attention so that it's more realized as these updates come further along. We're looking to have this be a proper game mode so that people can enjoy the thrill of running around trying survive a bunch of various size activities. We want the Arena to also serve as an alternative method for helping reach your quotas back in the tower. Overall we want the arena to be a high action experience for players to jump into and experience in the game as it is currently. This mode serves as a good base for general actions we want to also occur throughout the game in it's entirety, so developing it first will help us translate it to various other moments in the game in the future.
That is all for now, let us know what you think! Your comments, critique and overall feedback have been a huge help when writing this dev log and it all does a lot of work helping us with the direction we go with this game. To those of you who support us it means the world and it's a lot of fun seeing the reactions to all the little new things added (even with the evil spooky month prank mwaha). Stay tuned for the next log, and let us know what you think. Till next time employees.
