Hello lovely Patrons!
PHILOSOPHY TUBE SEASON 4 IS ON THE WAY!Yesterday we wrapped a huge five day shoot; we filmed eight episodes in that time! It was a lot of work, up at 05:30 every day, but we came in under budget and a day ahead of schedule. The footage looks incredible. I'll have lots of BTS photos and more details on upcoming episodes for you very soon! I've ordered a big Mac that I can use to start editing these episodes; it'll arrive next week so I'm going to take this weekend to catch up on sleep.
I posted a little video to YouTube about how excited I am and so many new people have signed up to the Patreon to get their names in the credits! It's been heartening to get such a wave of support!

PROJECT 20M[FAMOUS ACTOR] is apparently still reading the script, I guess he's a slow reader! It's hard not to worry but I guess No News Is Good News. Our director let the cat out of the bag in a recent interview with Variety, some of you maybe saw that... I'm not saying anything!
PROJECT 3MThe first and second drafts have been completed! My manager has sent his notes on the second and the headline is right now it's reading more like a 5 million dollar movie. We're aiming for $1-3m, so I need to make it cheaper in the third draft. It's a bit frustrating: I wanted to be having meetings with producers about this before the season ends. (Nothing in Hollywood moves between November and January.) But I guess this means I have something to come right out of the gate with in early 2027.
WHAT I'VE BEEN WATCHING/READING
Absolute Wonder Woman. I caught up on some back issues I'd been meaning to read. Still loving this series!
My friend John Dunning wrote a cool graphic novel called Wiper that I also read, and it rocks! Really cool noir scifi story with Fifth Element vibes.
I'm on the jury for a film festival; I'm not sure how much I'm allowed to say about that yet but it means I've seen some pretty good films this month!
WHAT’S INSPIRED ME THIS MONTH
Time with family! My little nieces and nephew are growing into such beautiful, loving kids; I am so proud of them.
A random flute player I listened to in a park who made my morning peaceful.
I took a brief trip to San Francisco and bumped into Abby Langh on the street, star of Peppermint Pixie Dream Girl! She was doing a modelling photoshoot so I lowkey crashed it and got some awesome pictures courtesy of @film.deli on Instagram
Some good news I can't talk about, uhhh - how to say? There's a thing that would be very cool that required a production company to pay to get me in the running for, and they've agreed to pay, so I guess I'm now in with a very slim chance of something awesome. Probably not gonna happen but nice to get a vote of confidence from that production company!
WHAT’S GOT ME STRESSED
Legal stuff. There's things I want to do next year and I'm waiting to find out whether I'll be allowed to do them.
Career stuff. I wish I was further along with 20M and 3M. Working in Hollywood requires a lot of faith and patience and sometimes it's hard to believe anything will ever really happen. I feel a bit like time's passing me by and that I'm falling behind my peers. I had an audition this month for something I wanted but didn't get, and another one that I just never heard back from, and they've weighed on me, especially since auditions are thin on the ground for us all right now. It's almost the end of the year and once again it's "the worst year ever in the industry," as it has been literally every year since I graduated drama school. That said, I'm probably just blue from lack of sleep!
