It's been SO LONG since I last drew Venti and Lisa in their usual outfits!
And when I finally decided to do something about that, I suddenly thought... isn't drawing them in their original colors a little BORING? I wanted to spice things up a bit! Even if it was just swapping their color palettes. And that's how this little illustration came to be!
The truth is, I miss Mondstadt TERRIBLY. Its atmosphere, its characters, and that special feeling that made me fall in love with this region in the first place.
And the more I think about it, the more I want to dive back into that world. But this time, I don't want to limit myself to just drawing VenLisa illustrations. I want to tell stories, make comics, experiment with designs, bring to life ideas I've been putting off for years, and just create SO MUCH MORE Mondstadt-related stuff!
I feel like there's a pretty good chance I'll fall into that same old VenLisa hyperfixation again. You know, the one that used to make me draw them practically nonstop. I think many people remember that time.And honestly, I wouldn't mind that at all!
But this time, I want to come back with a little UPGRADE. Rather than simply repeating what I used to do, I want to try something new, something bigger and more exciting.
Anyway, here's hoping this is the beginning of a WHOLE NEW VENLISA ERA in my art
